US subs carry over 100 Tomahawk missiles they can hit anywhere in Iran they have the range.

“I greatly respect the fact that all scheduled hangings, which were to take place yesterday (Over 800 of them), have been cancelled by the leadership of Iran. Thank you!" Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

Speaking to reporters later, Trump was asked whether Arab and Israeli officials convinced him not to strike Iran, and he replied, “No one convinced me. I convinced myself."

“You had, yesterday, scheduled, over 800 hangings. They didn't hang anyone. They cancelled the hangings. That had a big impact," he added.

Reports indicate the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) had its AIS (Automatic Identification System) transponders switched off around January 20, 2026, as it departed the Strait of Malacca heading towards the Arabian Sea, a common tactic for naval vessels entering sensitive areas or preparing for operations to obscure precise movements.

Basically, the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln will be in position to attack Iran at D5 (around Jan. 23rd) – if it keeps an average speed of 19.9 knot
