China has the largest navy in the world and they are building ships
20 times faster than the USA - right now.
They will have 1,000 nuclear weapons by 2030.
They have an enormous army of millions of soldiers.
They are making hypersonic missiles and other high tech weapons.
If they attack Taiwan we could be drawn into it by the Yanks.

China wants to trade. History has shown that attempting to control every facet of resource management and creating a solid base for your own control over resources - does not work.

Without viable trade between differing socio-economic structures - which necessitates an endless supply of the impoverished supplying the engine room of requiring anything to sustain life (which we see more and more developing in the West) ....the whole 'structure' falls down.

Absolute control over resources and ongoing PRODUCTION does not work and never has.

The Germans tried it and murdered millons in many ways ... the Japanese tried it with their 'Greater South East and Asian Co-prosperity Sphere'..and murdered millions ... the Stalinists tried it with their total control over the state, people and resources, and murdered millions.... Pol Pot tried to to make everyone equal by forcing all to produce rice when and where it was not viable to do so and then killing those who did not produce........ and murdered millions....

China is smarter than that..and KNOWS it will not win a direct confrontation with the West- sleepy as the West is right now.
