I'm not a big fan of Christmas songs, but I've always liked his.

He was an excellent guitarist and blues artist.

British singer Chris Rea, best known for the 1980s festive hit Driving Home for Christmas, has died at the age of 74.

"Singer/songwriter and guitarist Chris Rea passed away earlier today in hospital following a short illness," his family said in a statement.

"He passed away peacefully in hospital earlier today following a short illness, surrounded by his family."

A week before his passing, hubby showed me that video and said how beautiful the song is.
I watched that very video of truck driving in the snow.
Then days later we hear of his passing! So sad. Just before Christmas.
My daughter said… he did go home for Christmas.

There is an another Xmas song we like, by Wham.
