NSW proposed new gun laws
Dec 21st, 2025 at 9:44am

Minns has released some details.

The only thing in it that could have prevented Bondi Islamic terrorist attack is banning non citizens from having guns.

Guns reduced to 4 for hunters.
Bondi terrorists took 4 guns to Bondi the Russian took one the Syrian took another.
Both terrorists were shooting with the other 2 guns until stopped by Police shooting them.
People will probably be handing in their lowest powered guns like .22s and keeping their higher powered guns.

Minns doesn't know our laws for Category A and B firearms they don't have unlimited magazine capacity.
Rifles with non detachable magazines have unlimited capacity it's usually a tube under tha barrel.
It's much faster to change a magazine than reload a non detachable magazine this will achieve stuff all.
WA tried this it outlawed lever action rifles then backflipped on this change when the idiocy was pointed out.
Minns probably had the same idiot from WA sugest it.
Current Magazine laws here- https://www.police.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/file/0011/209477/Fact_Sheet_-_Firear...

What is a belt fed magazine?
Do these clowns know anything about guns?

We have the stupid Zombie knife laws in NSW more idiocy on knives are we going to follow the idiots in VIC who banned Machetes?

A typical politicians response to a problem that he should have seen coming. Punishing responsible firearms owners in an effort to be seen to be doing something is far easier than dealing with the actual problem - Islamic extremists. Do do so would upset his voter base.

But then, this is the clown who says his new rules will ban 'belt fed magazine shotguns'... Roll Eyes

Blame the gun and not him?

Gun laws, eh??

Bondi Beach shooter’s same-day gun buys ‘should have triggered alert’
Sajid Akram bought three high-powered guns on the same day despite terror links and in breach of national firearms rules that should have stopped him.

Hello, my name is Mohammed Bin Infidelkiller. Gimme guns.
Yeah, orright, here that go. Just don't call us wacist islamophobes. That would be worse than 15 murders on a beach.

Diversity uber alles, insh'allah.

The new 4 gun limit isn't going to prevent another attack like Bondi.
They took 4 guns to Bondi.
It will result in most getting rid of their lowest power Category A .22s and keeping their higher power rifles.
A .223 will become their lowest powered rifle which is the same ammo used in AR15s.

Reducing Firearms license from 5 years to 2 will achieve stuff all apart from creating more work for the 100+ Police who work in Firearms registry.
It's claimed they will come under scruitiny when renewing.
Firearms license holders should be flagged for ASIO and court appearances when they occur not at license renewal time so length of license shouldn't be relevant.

Claims of current unlimited magazine capacity for A+B is false.
Cat A has 15 round limit Cat B has 10 for rifles with detachable magazines.
Non detachable magazines ie lever action rifles were unlimited magazine capacity, much slower to reload compared to swapping a magazine so these lever action rifles will be outlawed on magazine capacity.

There are no rifles or shotguns that use belt fed magazines ithis shows the complete ignorance of firearms with whoever came up with this crap.

Banning non citizens with exemption for Kiwis is absurd. If a refugee goes to NZ then comes here they can buy guns.

Severe Federal and State government Firearm Laws in Australia,
are, imo, about WOKE, DEI governments, social CONTROL,
and CANNOT make [and HAVE NOT made] Australian suburbs and towns safer.

And imo, they would contribute very little to 'community safety'.

Nor, contribute to the prevention of further ISLAMIC Jihad, terror attacks.
[duh......knives,    chemical bombs,    vehicular mayhem in EVERY public area lacking.....
'DIVERSITY BOLLARDS' ???]

We all know......that moslems have committed many terror attacks in Australia - WITHOUT THE 'BENEFIT' OF FIREARMS.

ARGUMENT;
As a consequence of the core [violent] teachings, of the actions members of that 'religious' community......
all other Australians, have been losing THEIR freedoms, through 'the fault' of their own innocence,
and through their own non participation, in >> moslem << terror incidents.

All the while, successive Federal governments have pandered to and appeased, a 'community' living in Australia,
whose core beliefs teach....that moslems must intimidate [to 'persuade'], attack and kill.....
their 'fellow Australians' who make a CHOICE TO NOT BE, a follower of ISLAM !!

ARGUMENT;
ISLAM's core religious texts teach, that rejecting ISLAMIC primacy, is a capital crime,
and worthy of execution !

PROOFS

------- >

e.g.
'RELIGIOUS' INSTRUCTION TO THE FOLLOWER OF ISLAM [in Australia].....
FROM THE HEART OF THE KORAN.......
[i.e. The Terrorist Instruction Manual [KORAN],
is ensconced in the 'sanctuary' [the home] of every devout moslem in Australia.

"O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him)."
Koran 9.123

"If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him;...."
Koran 3.85

"And fight with them until.....religion should be only for Allah,..."
Koran 2.193

.

SUPPLEMENTARY;

Also, and when i quote the prophet of ALLAH,
from the Hadith ???

e.g.
Instruction from the prophet of ALLAH,
in the hadith....

"...the Prophet said,
'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion,
kill him."

- DEAD.
hadithsunnah/bukhari/ #004.052.260

.

FROM 'TODAYS' ISLAMIC LAW [i.e. CORE BELIEF]....

"Ibn 'Umar related that the Messenger of Allah, upon whom be peace, said, "I have been ordered to kill the people until they testify that there is no god except Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer and pay the zakah. If they do that, their blood and wealth are protected from me save by the rights of Islam. Their reckoning will be with Allah." (Related by al-Bukhari and Muslim.) "
fiqhussunnah/fus1_06

FROM 'TODAYS' ISLAMIC LAW [i.e. CORE BELIEF]....

"Ibn 'Abbas reported that the Prophet said: "The bare essence of Islam and the basics of the religion are three [acts], upon which Islam has been established. Whoever leaves one of them becomes an unbeliever and his blood may legally be spilled. [The acts are:] Testifying that there is no God except Allah, the obligatory prayers, and the fast of Ramadan."...."

CRIMINAL INTENT, IN THE MOSLEM HEART

Every moslem in Australia [and indeed, every moslem on the planet],
by self declaring as a moslem,
is self declaring a criminal intent [by our laws] against local non-moslems.

ISLAM is a criminal compact among moslems,
to wage a violent 'religious' war against non-moslems ['unbelievers'].

.....Basically, fundamentally, all ISLAMIC doctrine translates as enmity, and encourages [criminal] violence, towards ALL non-moslems.

NSW Police firearms officer claims ‘massive failings’ made Bondi massacre inevitable

A former NSW Police officer who dedicated nearly a decade to the state’s firearms registry, claims a massacre in Sydney was “always going to happen” due to “massive and long-term failings” within the system.

Recently-retired Senior Constable Wayne Jackson, a 33-year veteran of the NSW Police Force, told news.com.au he had been “lecturing on the likelihood of a Bondi shooting since 2012” and had penned “so many reports on failures in our firearms registry processes that would eventually cause a situation such as Bondi”.

Mr Jackson, who was the first ever operational officer at the Firearms Registry, said the core issue laid in the Firearms Registry’s approach: “We were complaint adverse and not risk adverse” and provided “unlimited unchecked supply of firearms to the greater community”.

While a Permit to Acquire (PTA) costs $30, many exemptions mean a large portion are issued free, with the actual processing cost to the government being significantly higher.

He points to the sheer volume of firearm transactions: at present, approximately 7500 Permits to Acquire (PTAs) and 1500 to 1900 new licence applications are processed monthly.

“How the hell can the police in the field keep up with the safe storage inspections and the general Policing of Firearms?” he said.

“They rely on police officers who are generally untrained in the policing of firearms identifications and registrations, licences and the compliance of all it.

“On every occasion I would audit large collections and dealers, there would always be issues, such as missing firearms, incomplete paperwork or simple paperwork that was just basically wrong.

A critical flaw, Mr Jackson claims, is the registry’s narrow focus.

“Firearms registry civilian staff don’t work like or think like police officers, and how could they?” he said.

In 2020-21 Sydney-based police officers who were on sick report were brought in to process massive registry backlogs.

Mr Jackson said the public would be alarmed to learn that licence holders, and their households, were never scrutinised.

“The focus is on the individual, not the household nor associates,” he said. “Even our own intelligence reports, even from agencies like AFP or in particular ACIC and other interstate police forces, intelligence reports were historically ignored.”

Intelligence reports first became a centre of attention in 2021 after John Edwards shot dead his two children. A coroner found the “wholly inadequate” Registry failed to perform its key responsibility when it granted gun licences to Edwards, with the inquest examining how he was granted gun permits and licences despite his history of domestic violence.

Similarly, mental health concerns within a household are not adequately checked. “Dads got guns, son is schizophrenic. We don’t check, and don’t dare challenge”.

“I acknowledge that rural people have a requirement for a firearm as a tool, but from memory more than 50 per cent of firearms are within the Sydney basin.

https://www.news.com.au/national/nsw-act/nsw-police-firearms-officer-claims-mass...

Over 100 police work full time in the NSW firearms registry some of them can't tell the difference between a serial number and a model number.

People keep their own records when selling a firearm which has to be done through a licensed dealer who needs the PTA for buyer many cases of police claiming gun is missing when it wasn't the problem was with firearms registry not processing required paperwork.

The proposed National registry is going to be a huge expensive clusterfuk if it relies on flawed data from the state registries.

This admission sums up the failure in giving Bondi terrorist a license-
he said. “Even our own intelligence reports, even from agencies like AFP or in particular ACIC and other interstate police forces, intelligence reports were historically ignored.”

Well isn't no guns for non citizens part of the new rules? Also the changes aren't all about this specific event.

I am OK with no guns for non citizens, in the US non citizens don't have any 2A rights.

There will be an exemption for Kiwis with no guns for non citizens.
ISIS refugee could be granted Kiwi citizenship then come here which is a serious flaw with exemption.

None of these changes would be happening if there was no Islamic terrorists shooting Jews and 2 Australians dead at Bondi. It's a knee jerk reaction.
