1st dude of VIC is a drunk driver
Dec 20th, 2025 at 7:23pm

Ms Allan said Yorick Piper was driving to the supermarket in Bendigo on Thursday morning when he rear-ended another car at an intersection.

He was later pulled over for a random breath test and blew the blood alcohol concentration limit of 0.05.

Mr Piper received an on-the-spot fine and has lost his licence, which Ms Allan said would take effect from January 16.

Ms Allan said she and her family had celebrated their son's birthday at a local pub the night before and medication he was taking might have contributed to the incident.

He rear ended a car and still carried on driving. If he blew + the next morning after a night at the pub, he must have been totally schitfaced. What a scumbag.

Insurance doesn't cover you if caught for drink driving and crash.

Dickhead Dan skittled a kid while driving was he drunk or did he get away with it?

After he exchanged details with the other driver, yes.

It wasn't a hit and run.

So he Liberaced another car while drunk driving, got back into his car and drove off continued driving while drunk until police stopped him with RBT?

He didn't know he was over the limit.

Moreover, it's perfectly legal to continue on your way once you've exchanged details with the other driver in a minor accident.

'In February 2024, Barnaby Joyce was filmed drunk on a Canberra footpath, after falling off a planter box while on a phone call, an incident he later blamed on a mix of alcohol and prescription drugs'.  Barnaby at 1.85m weighed about 86 kg, mainly beetroot.
'In Canberra, littering in a public place is illegal under the Litter Act 2004, with basic fines for individuals starting around $1,000, and larger dumping incurs much higher penalties'.

Yes. I thought of that incident too and how that master slitherer seemed to get away with everything!

I don’t like labor, I don’t like our Vic premier, but lately she’s had a couple personal hits like being boo’ed at and then her partner/husband lost his licence causing her embarrassment and she looked so sad, genuinely remorseful, and not all that confident smug hard headed as a politician does.
Then silly me felt sorry for her!
I said to hubby, “You know, I’m glad I’m a nobody, because the higher one is, the harder they fall.”

I didn’t know medication could give one a high RBT reading next day.

I’m on certain medication and I know it affects alcohol, I feel it after just a few sips. So I avoid it.
Except for limoncello, seems it’s the only one I can have and feel less effected by!
And yep, I finally finished making my home made brew recently!
Ready to share on Christmas.
But not driving on Boxing Day for shopping sales …. Just in case!

Blowing 0.05 the next morning is not an indication of drunkenness, the person is not affected by alcohol.
It’s stupid law.
