Should you be able to own more than 1 gun?  NSW collectors own as many as 100 guns.  Is that too many?  I think so but I'm a noted hoplophobe as the Baron likes to call me on occasion.  I've used machine guns, when I was in the Army, I'm not frightened by guns, I fear idiots like the Baron with guns.  As I cannot control his level of stupidity, I can control the guns he brandishes.  Tsk, tsk, tsk... I fired M16s at Singleton Army base when i was in high school cadets.

Being in the cadets taught me they lied about the army where you spend most of your time marching on parade with a ego tripping CSM barking out orders  Roll Eyes

I gun isn't going to cut it with range of ferals hunters are allowed to shoot from small rabbits to large pigs.

Target Shooters are allowed spare guns in case one malfunctions so they can use another.
I should remind idiots like Bwhine Target shooting is an Olympic sport with perfect safety record.

I have never been charged by the Police for anything i am a law abiding citizen.
My last speeding ticket was in 1997.
Bwhine has an irrational fear of me Grin.

A Theatrical Armorer is the ultimate gun license when Greens point out someone inner Sydney has over 600 guns they never mention he supplies Fox Studios who took over Sydney Showgrounds.
Who would have thought those who supply movie makers need a huge variety of guns.

Theatrical Armorers can have just about anything like dealers they are allowed to Function Test them to make sure they're in perfect working order.

They have to be on set when they're being used to stop things like that Leftist idiot Alec Baldwin from accidently killing someone.

I am afraid of idiots like you, Baron. The M16 is a WOFTAM as a rifle goes. Perfect for school boys to play at soldier with.  They are dangerous to their targets but they frequently suffer from stoppages.  They belong to the Americans who like toy guns.  As for the number of weapons that an individual can possesse 1 is sufficient for casual users.  Why do you keep finding exceptions to justify over ownership of firearms?  Tsk, tsk, tsk... A casual user? One who shoots bunnies? One who shoots foxes? One who shoots both? Just how is a casual user defined? By their targets or by the times they shoot? Roll Eyes

I have encountered gun nuts like the Baron many times in the past.  They absorb their knowledge primarily from Hollywood and books.  They have little understanding of the real usability of weapons. They believe the myths and lies promulgated by Hollywood.  Some good Square-bashing would do him some world of good.  Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Martial arts gives greater discipline than mindless "right dress eyes front left turn" bullshit with parades in the army.

Sanchin Kata you have to keep focus and not get distracted while high ranks are kicking and punching you as you do it.
If you flinch you fail you have to block out the pain and distractions and keep going.
One of my martial arts friends joined the army ended up in the SAS which is better than being a kitchen hand like you. Roll Eyes

Firing a machine gun doesn't make you an expert on guns i did get to fire a few of them when i lived in the US.
Dad still lives there he has a Bren gun respect to the diggers who had to carry that one.

The M16 is what it is the military thought it was alright all the old diggers i know prefer L1A1.

The AR15 is a POS i wouldn't own one.
I did post a video of GAP-10 in my sub forum does 0.25 MOA which is more accurate than just about every hunting rifle not bad for a semi auto .308.

I would say minimum for serious hunter
1-.22lr for small feral critters and up close kill shots for wounded road kill
2. 12 g shotgun with slugs good for just about anything up to 100 yards, buckshot for feral cats they're pretty fast at times.
3. .204 Ruger or .223 rem, I prefer .223AI. Good for rabbits at longer ranges Foxes wild dogs.
4. .243 Winchester with 90 gr is considered minimum for ethical shooting with feral pigs and goats.55-70 grain for foxes wild dogs at longer than .223 range
5. .308 Winchester lots of ammo available better for pigs and goats.
6. 7mm rem mag or 280 Ackley for NT Buffalo Camels and feral horses

If you look at .308 get a short barrel 16-18 inch for scrub hunting with pigs or a longer 24 inch for open fields or maybe one of each? Roll Eyes

If you're a serious hunter you need a range of guns to have the right tools for whatever feral pests you can hunt.

Those who claim hunters only need 1 have never been out in the bush hunting.

Those who claim target shooters only need 1 gun have never been involved with target shooting.

Bwhine is just a keyboard warrior who has never been in a real fight.

Never met a someone who claims to be an atheist yet is so spineless he can't criticise Islamic death penalty for atheists because he isn't a muslim or member of their country.

Bhwine then shows his total hypocrisy by criticising US Constitutional rights despite not living there or being an American
Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin

How is you Debate and Relate forum going Bhwine did everybody leave and it died because they thought you are an idiot?

1 gun is all they gave grunts like you who were considered expendable cannon fodder.
It doesn't make you an expert on guns.

I have a friend who is a former SAS trained sniper he had to learn the 1 gun you had along with everything else from .308 to 50 BMG rifles

When he starts talking about  Coriolis effect with long range shooting the Physics understanding is quite impressive.

He has probably forgotten more than you know about guns.  Roll Eyes

Of course it doesn't give you instant obedience it takes time and a bit of practice to block out and ignore someone is bashing you while doing Sanchin Kata.
Sanchin is Brown Belt requirement.

We also had he is bludging everyone down give me 50 push ups and 50 sit ups.
If you finished earlier than others you would be told do another 20 while they catch up.

Having done both i will say martial arts is 10x better for discipline.
As Benny the Jet Urquidez said the way you train is the way you react.

Which gun in my list would you say is all hunters need?
