My very little research on this topic has led me to believe that  Western Australia has the best model for gun laws ( as well as hate speech).

The main focus that should be Albos is a Federal registry of firearms and the Federal takeover from the states of gun laws and implement a Federal act based on what WA has done.

I am deeply concerned that the gun buy back will be restricted to those who have guns that don’t fit the new laws rather than a all inclusive buy back scheme that aims ( poorly chosen word) to remove all guns both registered and already illegal.

Unfortunately Albo  seems to be looking for a quick media release rather than any long term solution to combat Extreme Islam ☪️ .

It’s acceptable to take on a 100 neo nazis but  labor needs the million Muslim votes?

His brief mention of looking into improving migration screening hasn’t been mentioned since .

This is about gun control, not immigration.

The victims at Bondi died from gunshot wounds.

Similarly, the victims at Port Arthur died from gunshot wounds.

No guns = no fatal gunshot wounds.

So the gunmen who trained in the Philippines to kill people would have come back to Australia and thought oh well we can't kill the jews here because they have banned guns. Is that what you are trying to tell me. Are you really that stupid.

No guns = no fatal gunshot wounds.

Indisputable fact.

No legal guns, banning guns will not remove all guns.

Indisputable fact.

Banning immigration and/or religion will not stop people from being fatally wounded by guns.

People being killed by guns is a gun issue.

So you don't believe that these muslims were radicalized by islam and killed 15 people because they were jews, you think they were mental and it just happened to be jews who were killed.

Trump derangement syndrome
Fareed Zakaria defined the term as "hatred of President Trump so intense that it impairs people's judgment"

Lets check in at 5pm on 23rd July 2025 then at 5pm on 30th July

I personally hate guns.
In my opinion only very few people should have them:
farmers need them for killing feral pests and injured livestock,
professional feral pest eradicators need them,
cops need them.

People who want them for a hobby shouldn't count -
get a better hobby -
that hobby risks people being killed by accidents and misuse,
and also their guns stolen and used by criminals to shoot people.
1000's of guns are stolen every year.

I'd like to live in a world where not even the cops need guns -
but that will never happen.

Who feels safer knowing in the  distant future people like Naveed Akram will be restricted under Albo new laws to only owning  4 high powered rifles?

Albo is too weak - he's like a little fairy.   Roll Eyes

Why didn't ScoMo do something when he was PM?

Because he didn't appease the jihadis. Roll Eyes

Being killed by guns is an irresponsible shooter issue. Responsible people do not shoot people, unless authorised. Gun accidents are an irresponsible act.  Roll Eyes

I agree, Bobby.

I remember the good old days when the cops didn't carry guns on their side - they were only brought out of the station when needed (bank robberies, usually).

If you're a gun collector, tough! - start collecting stamps instead.

“ The NSW Labor government on Saturday announced it would outlaw the display of terrorist symbols, such as Islamic State and Hamas flags, and clamp down on ban hate speech, including banning the phrase “globalise the intifada”.

“ The guardian

And suddenly it’s not all about gun control

Gee, who didn't see this coming?

I'm sure all the criminals and potential terrorists will be lining up in droves to hand in their guns and other weapons.

You're a useless fwit, Albanese. Do the honourable thing and resign now. And take the rest of your pathetic excuse for a government with you.

I agree.

Guns owned by collectors in NSW are permanently disabled and can't be made to fire.

More Hoplophobic ignorance on display.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.
