it was restored using as much of the original hull as was humanly possible,

So parts of it were rebuilt.

And still nothing about sacrificial anodes.

What do you want to know about sacrificial anodes?
I’ve designed them, made them, fitted them, monitored them etc.

A lot depends on the depth of the water and the presence or otherwise of predators, a boiler suit and foot and hand coverings plus a balaclava and goggles takes care of stingers. Generally dry dock fitting is going to be cheapest as it would normally be done while other work was going on. In the unlikely event of no other work then underwater would be the go.
As to the actual cost, I have no idea and never did have.
The only cost I ever actually saw was what the company charged per hour for my services; the difference between that figure and my wages was an eye opener.
Edit.
On unladen ships new anodes could be fitted without diving gear but laden ships usually required scuba gear; however scuba diving was usual as it attracted a higher rate of pay and the unlons usually insisted on it.
