Why do you keep perpetuating this lie, Soren?  It is a WOFTAM.  In reality the Israelis  offer an unworkable comprise based on their belief in "Eretz Isreal" than something realistic that the Palestinians could live with.  Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

'The United States remains focused on keeping Israel secure and Gaza and the West Bank stable,” Jennifer Locetta told the UN Security Council on Tuesday.

“President Trump has been perfectly clear that the United States expects the violence in the West Bank to end, and that the United States will not allow the annexation of the West Bank,” she added.

And yet the illegal WB settlements are increasing daily.

I think 'God' (Trump) has a blind eye....

The WB and Gaza were NOT part of ANY recognised country either in 1948 when Jordan and Egypt occupied them, nor in 1967 when Israel occupied them.

Had the Palestinians declared their own country at the same time the Jrews accepted the UN resolution, those territories would now be part of a legit country and Israeli settlements would be illegal. But since these territories are not part of any recognised country, settlements are not illegal. That's the Israeli reasoning. And considering the only use Pallos have put these territories to  is terorist bases against Israel, I can't say I blame the Jews for slowly changing the de facto demography on the ground. How would you deal with a terrorist nest hellbent on your destruction? (You would surrender to it, I know. I know)

If Birmingham can be 50 % Musulman then the WB can be 50 % Jewish.

Islam is special in that the Koran specifies Jews as infidels.

Just as Judaism is special in that it identifies Jehovah - the 'Jealous god' -  as Lord of the world.

Why didnt Egypt and Jordan create a Palestine or absorb the palestinians?

Because that would be an insult to Islam ie to give up land for infidels.

Because the victorious powers carved up the former lands of the Ottoman empire without forcing a religion of Infidels  onto the inhabitants of those new state entities.

For the same reason fundamentalist Jews (and Jewish "Promised Land"  terrorists in the WB)  are not enlightened: they hold every word in their respective scriptures to be 'the Word of God'.

Silly bollocks, Bbwiyawn. There was NO Israel before the Jews accepted the UNITED NATION's 1948 resolution and the Pallos and Arabs rejected it. That is why I said that the Pallos could have had their own state AT THE SAME TIME the Jews accepted the UN resolution and declared Israel.

The Palestinans had an equal chance, just like the Jews, to have their own state in 1948.
The Jews accepted the chance but the Muslim chose to bet on their ablity to strangle Israel at birth.
It didn't happen so Jordan and Gaza occupied what would have been Palestine (the WB and Gaza). They didn't create a Paiestine either but tried to strangle Israel again in 1967.
That didnt work either and Israel occupied the WB and Gaza ( to the eternal gratitude anc relief of Jordan and Egypt, I add).

The Pallos continued to be total ratbags and rejected another 4 or 5 opportunities to create a legitimate state, opting instead for permanent jihad and intifada.

That's because the UN failed to implement its own UN res 181, in which the proposed Palestinian state would have been  a recognised country; if you (ie, the UN)  are going to split a country against the will of those remaining in the new entity which would be governed by "indidels", then you must ensure you can enforce your resolution (ie UN res 181) to avoid never ending war.

True, the League of Nations granted the British a mandate over Palestine after WW1.

But the Mandate specified

No-one cares what the mandate specified. Not even the locals.

Your error:

1. The locals consisted of majority Muslims and minority Jews, and they  had very different views of the Mandate.

They all rejected it for their own reasons. The Muslims wanted to slaughter Jews, and the Israelis built Israel.

Right of Return is wrong, the Arabs are right about that.  Now they can't return to East Jerusalem nor to the family olive trees in West Bank. Left right out.

Your error: terrorism is about fundamentalist Islam and fundamentalist "Promised Land" Jewish mythology.

Until the enlightenment can teach eveyone the 'Word of God' is not the Word of God,  but the word of men in search of God, we have a problem - in this case with both Jewish and Muslim terrorists.

It's not biased. The arab countries have ethnically cleansed pretty much all of their Jews. They have also attacked Israel repeatedly since it came into existence. The only thing stopping them wiping out the Jews is their incompetence. It is not for lack of trying. On the other hand Israel has granted it's arab muslim citizens more rights and freedoms, and more say in the governance of the country, than any other middle eastern or north african nation (or China). They make up about 20% of Israel's population, and have increased more than tenfold since Israel's creation.

If 2.5 billion Muslims, occupying about a fifth of the land of this planet, cannot concede a strip that is one third the size of Tasmania and has been called Jewdea LONG before Mohammed rode his winged horse to the moon and back - then I say to Muslims, Abdul in particular: **** you, invading occupying buggers, once again as for centuries before,  you are the living justification for universal islamophobia.

West Bank is about 1/3 what Russia seized in Ukraine.  They keep droning on about that.
(Fair enough, the Mussi get Tasmania)
