The State of Palestine did not exist as an independent nation in 1947

True, the League of Nations granted the British a mandate over Palestine after WW1.

But the Mandate specified

No-one cares what the mandate specified. Not even the locals.

Your error:

1. The locals consisted of majority Muslims and minority Jews, and they  had very different views of the Mandate.

They all rejected it for their own reasons. The Muslims wanted to slaughter Jews, and the Israelis built Israel.

Breath-takingly biased narrative.

The Jews even ended up slaughtering Brits in the mandate land.

It's not biased. The arab countries have ethnically cleansed pretty much all of their Jews.

More factual errors: Jews lived in peace with their Muslim overlords for much of history since the Arab conquests beginning in the 7th century.

The ethnic cleansing in Arab countries in the 20th century  was caused by the UN-enabled confiscation of Muslim land (half of Palestine)  in 1948, which propelled the current  Jewish conquest of Palestine.

Quote:
They have also attacked Israel repeatedly since it came into existence.

Haven't you read my educational posts to Frank?

The Pals HAD to resist Jews because  the latter were 'infidels', meaning the occupation of Palestine by Jews was an insult to Islam.

(Back in the 7th century when Islam conquered Palestine, the minority Jews  living there welcomed the Muslim Arabs  as liberators from the hated Christian Byzantines governing Palestine.)

Quote:
The only thing stopping them wiping out the Jews is their incompetence.
It is not for lack of trying

True. That's why they have now accepted the UN position.

Quote:
On the other hand Israel has granted it's arab muslim citizens more rights and freedoms, and more say in the governance of the country, than any other middle eastern or north african nation (or China). They make up about 20% of Israel's population, and have increased more than tenfold since Israel's creation.

True (for the sake of the argument); BUT they are infidels - among whom are extremists who think all of Palestine belongs to Jews.

The world rejects the extremists on both sides.

Even Trump says Netanyu will never annex the WB....though Trump is being sneaky, ignoring the relentless ongoing annexation in progress.

They have been arguing about Palestine/Israel for over 70 years and hundreds of thousands of lives lost.

Some just want to keep arguing.

The confiscation of half of Palestine for infidel Jews is an insult to Islam.

Pity about that, but that's how "god" operates,  - according to the OT and its off-shoot the Koran.

No-one cares what the mandate specified. Not even the locals. Only little pinks who have deluded themselves into thinking the UN also granted China a mandate over Taiwan.

Or those who think Australia has a mandate over fishing in the Great Australian Bite.

No one cares about the occupation of Jordan, Southern Lebanon or Egypt. Not even the locals.

Implementation of UN res 181 would go a long way to ending  the ongoing conflict now.

Guess who is blocking it, apart from extremists on both sides?

**** Islam.

(Can I say that?)

Apparently it is OK to say **** Christtianity, **** Judaism, all ancient superstitions.

But if you also say **** Islam, that's instant wacism and 'islamophobia'.

Open, rational discourse has been hijacked and suppressed by people with shite morals, shite values, shite cultures because any rational discussion if their allegiances would demonstrate deep, unbundging, entrenched stupidity: Islamic fanatics, lefty fanatics, green fanatics. They have occupied the heights of public discourse throughout the universities, the media and the bureaucracy.

don't really care anymore, if you can't learn from 70 years experience then what difference will it make. Do what they want in Palestine/Israel, it is past sensible conversations.

Sometimes in life you have to lick your wounds and make the best of what you have, you choose the path you want to take and you are responsible for what you choose.

Just picking a side is contributing to the problem, the more attention it gets the worse it gets.

It is not an error, no matter how hard you try to polish your turd. Slaughtering Jews began with the prophet Muhammad, who wrote much of the Quran to justify Jew slaughtering at the time and into the future. The Jews lived in fear, not peace. Not the same thing. Like the Chinese people living in fear of the CCP, which has killed about 100 million of them.

The Christians did their fair share of Jew killing too:

Google AI:

It is impossible to provide a precise total for the number of Jews killed in all the Crusades, as the violence spanned two centuries and reliable comprehensive records are unavailable. However, historical sources provide estimates for key massacres:

Rhineland Massacres (1096, First Crusade): This was the first major, organized anti-Jewish violence in Europe tied to the Crusades. Estimates for the total number of Jews killed in the cities of Speyer, Worms, Mainz, Cologne, and others range widely, from approximately 2,000 to 12,000 people. Some sources estimate that the total casualties across Germany and Northern France might have been one-fourth to one-third of the Jewish population at the time.

Siege of Jerusalem (1099, First Crusade): When the Crusaders captured Jerusalem, they massacred thousands of its inhabitants, both Muslims and Jews. While the exact figures are debated by historians, some sources suggest thousands of Jews were trapped in their synagogues and burned to death or killed. Estimates for the total people killed in the city range widely, with some chroniclers suggesting up to 70,000 in total for Muslims and Jews combined, though modern scholars often view this as an exaggeration.

Shepherd's Crusades (1251 and 1320): These later, popular movements (not official Holy Land campaigns) also targeted Jewish communities in France. The 1320 "Shepherd's Crusade" resulted in the destruction of about 140 Jewish communities in the path of the crusaders.

The Crusades initiated centuries of persecution and pogroms that led to thousands more deaths and the eventual expulsion of Jews from several European countries, including England and France. The violence during this era was unprecedented in its organized nature and widespread popular anti-Jewish sentiment it fostered among the masses.

It’s now been outlawed.

Amazing, after two and a little years of weekly protests and marches it’s suddenly unacceptable.

Sadly it’s completely too late now.

One rule for one minority and now another rule for the majority.

Maybe a protest about 15 deaths is a bit different? Like, instant injuries and damage....
(People will be down to 4 guns each in Sydney, which is a great improvement. Although armies usually have 1 gun per soldier to reduce casualties.....!)

Your errors continue.

1. Muhammed proclaimed Holy War against ALL infidels, not only Jews.

2. Many people have lived in fear in their own nations, even up to our own time;
eg

(Starsinsider)

What Americans fear most, according to a new survey

Fear has become a defining feature of American life—at least that's the case according to a new Chapman University survey. Not only are people reportedly afraid of more things than in the past, but the intensity of those fears is also rising

3. According to a Harvard poll, most Chinese people support their central government - since the CCP, post 1980, is eradicating poverty at the fastest rate in history.
