An interesting viewpoint on frydemburgers oratory
“ I said it before and I'll say it again. Josh Frydenberg comes out with this rehearsed, angry performance, trying to pin Bondi on the PM, and then Sarah Ferguson hits him with the real question "How do we not see this through a political lens?" And he loses it. Because that’s exactly what he was doing making it political and he couldn't take being called out. It was a performance of pure hypocrisy from a man who has always put political positioning ahead of principle.
He’s an absolute 1nsult. Using a massacre to push his own comeback? It's more than disgusting. it's morally bankrupt. It shows a core emptiness, where tragedy is just another tool for ambition. If he really wanted to make a difference, he'd be yelling at Netanyahu to stop sl@ughtering people in G aza. 68,000 d£ad civilians and he's here crying on TV? Give me a break. His selective outrage is a tell he only cares about victims when they serve his narrative.
Albo’s doing what he can. The rest of them are just point scoring. We don’t need less free speech we need the truth. But the Coalition won’t even back real action on hate speech. One of their own MPs told the ABC. no limits on speech, no new gun laws. Frydenberg, the ultimate party man, couldn’t sell that to his own faction even if he got back in which, by the way, he’s already telling colleagues he plans to do. Sky after dark leaked it before his speech even aired. This entire episode was a cynical launchpad, scripted and soulless.
If he wanted a political future, he torched it yesterday. He had a chance to show leadership, to unite people. Instead, he went for cheap shots and division. Pathet1c. He revealed himself not as a statesman, but as another gruvby 0pportunist in the LNP's ranks, unable to rise above the nastiness of his own party's playbook.
Remember when Jewish and Muslim groups both begged him not to weaken race h@te laws? He did it anyway. Back then it was to appease the far right now it’s to cozy up to the 1srael lobby. He’s just a wind vane whichever way the money and power blows. There is no core to this man, only calculation.
this is the guy who didn’t shed a tear over Robodebt. Two thousand people d£ad because of his govt’s cruelty. But now? Tears on cue. His grief is a prop, as fake as his claim to moderation.
So wipe the fake tears, Josh. We can see you smirking behind your hand, thinking you’ve played everyone. But we see you. We see the hollow performance, the desperate grasp for relevance, and the shameful willingness to exploit pain for power. And you’re not fo0ling anyone. HN. #auspol”
