If Don can travel to Ayres rock to enjoy a Twilight dinner with his wife and back at taxpayer expense why hasn’t he referred himself to the IPEA and as he has no intention to why doesn’t Albo refer him himself?

There needs to be a change to the rules for travel so that MP's and Senators can only claim official travel and ONE family reunion each sitting period and only for domestic travel, not international. If they wish to have a reunion including international travel or business class seats, they must pay for it out of their own pocket. Also, all travel should be in premium economy or economy only, not business class. If MP's or Senators wish to fly business class, then that's fine but they must pay the difference out of their own pocket and if they wish to have additional family reunions during a sitting period, it must be paid for out of their own pocket.

These MP's and Senators are not poor. The base salary is more than $233,000 per year (more if you're a Minister), so if they want the extra comfort or international flights for their family then they can pay for it themselves.
