There is sn enormous amount of 'leading Aborigines to water' in the form of preferment, boosting, findings, celebrating. They have to start taking responsibility for their own actions.

I have just rewatches Master an Commander, a superb Australian movie written, directed and produced by Peter Wier and staring Russel Crow. Set in 1805, at the height of the Napoleonic wars.

I couldn't help thinking just how peripheral and irrelevant Stone Age Aborigjnes were at the time. Still are, all things considered. Catch up or sink.
