HR and DEI.

And?

Do you think those jobs just don't count?

Why?

Nobody would notice if they disappeared.

Ah, so you mean you're choosing not to notice them because acknowledging them would require admitting yet another failure from Trump.

No.

They are unproductive, political commissariat jobs. Thought police.

Get rid of them all.

You're really going to have to walk me through how your little fantasy-economics works, because none of what you're claiming survives even the most cursory brush with reality.

1.1 million jobs were cut.

Not "1.1 million DEI jobs," not "1.1 million HR jobs," not "1.1 million diversity hires magically evaporated because the woke curse was lifted."

Just 1.1 million jobs. Across the economy.

No labour-market analysis said otherwise. No dataset anywhere on Earth shows such a breakdown.

If your worldview were true, if DEI meant "unqualified brown person stole the job from a white bloke," then the moment layoffs hit, the data should show this wonderful restoration of "merit" through the rehiring of white workers into those so-called stolen positions.

Except, inconveniently for your narrative, that did not happen.

They were jobs, in tech, retail, finance, manufacturing, admin, logistics, the entire messy sprawl of the modern economy. And when the cuts hit, the positions disappeared, not "rebalanced" themselves into a white-only workforce like the little racial purity fairytale you've been fed.

If you had even a single scrap of evidence showing a sector-level breakdown, DEI layoffs, HR layoffs, demographic replacements, you'd be waving it like a flag.

But you don't.

Because it doesn't exist.

Every time this comes up, you lean on your feelings, this internal monologue where DEI is at fault for crime, inflation, job losses, global warming, your bad haircut, everything. Then, when actual numbers contradict you, you retreat into the same whimpering cope: "It must be DEI secretly! The truth is being hidden! My gut says so!"

No, sweetheart.

Your gut isn't data.

Your worldview isn't evidence.

And your coping doesn't magically produce a breakdown of the 1.1 million layoffs that reality refuses to supply.

Until you can show even one verifiable stat to back your claims, you're just doing what you always do, inventing a fantasy world where facts bend to your ideology.

Out here, in the real world, the jobs are gone.

Not "woke jobs." Not "DEI jobs."

Just jobs.

What white flag, creep?

You were a union organiser or some such drain on the public purse.

Your lazy and stupid obsession with confected outrage about wacism is laughable. You have brown and white on the brain.

I actually agree with Thomas Sowell, Jacinta Price, Alan Hirsi Ali, Kemi Badenock rather than Bruce Pascoe,
Larissa Waters, Starmer or Biden.
DEI is about culture, as is much of your race baiting fulmination about wacism.

See you're just shooting from the hip again Frank.  Feelings over facts.

Did you both to look up how many jobs DOGE cut from the Government?

The most generous estimate, including actual layoffs, buyouts, contractors, downstream effects etc, is at 289,679 at last count, with another 13,000 expected by the end of the year.

So let's round up to 300,000.

What about the other 800,000 jobs..?

There is a shortlist based on news reporting:

UPS: 48000
Amazon: up to 30000
Intel: 24000
Nestle: 16000
Verizon: 15000
Accenture: 11000
Ford: 11000
Novo Nordisk: 9000
Microsoft: 7000
PwC: 5600
Salesforce: 4000
IBM: 2700
American Airlines: 2700
Paramount: 2000
Target: 1800
General Motors: 1500
Applied Materials: 1444
Kroker: 1000
Meta: 600

And they're just the big ones, and this doesn't include small businesses.

You're not even being lied to at this point (well you are), you're just making up bullshit so you don't have to admit you were wrong.

Your intellectual weakness is astounding.

I'll expect an abusive or racist retort as I've come to expect, or yet another cowardly withdrawal from the thread in the form of ghosting.

July 2025

The U.S. economy added 147,000 jobs last month, as employers shrugged off concerns that economic uncertainty and President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown would negatively affect growth.
https://www.politico.com/news/2025/07/03/economy-jobs-powell-fed-trump-immigrati...

That's would be well over a MILLION jobs in a year.
