And this is while he's hiding the quarterly GDP figures, the latest monthly Jobs figures and the inflation reports.

Plus, the height of the tariffs hasn't kicked in yet.

It's only going to get worse. It's going to be a bloodbath at the midterms, unless he starts another war...

I've been busy this week with the pre-embargo rush on deployments before Xmas, what is the "official" hoax they're blaming this on?

Donald Trump has said that claims of an affordability crunch in the US are a “con job” and “hoax” perpetuated by Democrats as rising prices become a growing political liability for Republicans.

The US president on Wednesday doubled down on his claim that prices are falling across the country as he pushed back against voter frustration over the cost of living that is eroding his polling numbers.

“Just about everything is down,” Trump said, as he announced a rollback of fuel economy standards. “They use the word affordability — it’s a Democrat hoax. They’re the ones who drove the prices up.”

“I think affordability is the greatest con job,” he added. “They look at you and they say affordability. They don’t say anything else.”

Trump's own voters begin blaming him for affordability crisis

New polling shows many Americans have begun to blame President Donald Trump for the high costs they’re feeling across virtually every part of their lives — and it’s shifting politics.

Almost half — 46 percent — say the cost of living in the U.S. is the worst they can ever remember it being, a view held by 37 percent of 2024 Trump voters. Americans also say that the affordability crisis is Trump’s responsibility, with 46 percent saying it is his economy now and his administration is responsible for the costs they struggle with.

If only someone had warned Americans that this is what would happen if they re-elected Trump.
