Donny is not that smart BUT

This is a feature not a flaw.

Politicians are really trying to be friends to their constituents.

Where does being clever or smart rank in terms of friendship on surveys?
Not in the top twenty.
In fact it is not positively correlated.
Many people do not trust a smarty pants.

What about being very moral.
Not in the top twenty.
In fact does not correlate at all.
Many people are flawed and they do not want purity in their friends.

What does rate.

Number one is being non judgemental.
Remember Hilary and Jo both said deplorable.
That very judgey.

When donny says he wishes ghillane well. The underlying message is
I Don't Judge.

Number 2 is being easy going.
No one like an uptight friend.
Doing his little dances and being very non serious.
Talking about bleach etc for covid shows he doesn't take life too seriously.

Number 3 was being kind.
Now donny is letting himself down a bit here.
I have shot him off an email suggesting he be a bit kinder.

Maybe send Joe and kamala an invite to Christmas lunch at the white house.
Maybe go and serve Christmas lunch at a migrant centre.

His stint serving fries at Mecca's was masterful.
