Our plan to tackle inflation is working ....

...

Oh? Really?   Roll Eyes

Heat on Labor to rein in spending as CPI, rates track north

Economists have forecast the first of at least two interest rate hikes after inflation jumped to 3.8 per cent, shocking experts and intensifying pressure on the Albanese government.

Food prices will jump up considerably in coming weeks.
Apparently there will be shortages of spuds in the north.

better economic managers

This was always a lie. The data never supported this position in fact historically the opposite has awyays been true.

Almost every Labor government has had to fix what the Liberals had left.

Like when Howard left us with zero debt?    Undecided

And a fragile economy geared to fail with fair work cripiling working Australians. In the best ecanomic conditions in about 200 years Howard was a disaster.

Howard left low debt and a debt time bomd ticking.

Howard main policies were to

never ever impliment a GST, (fail)

The Debt Truck (Fail) Foreign debt was worse when he left office.

The waterfront dispute - disgrace.

The Children overboard lie.

He fixed the Murray river - 5 times.

His own ministers were calling him the lying rodent.

Probably still holds the record for an Australian leader on the number of lies told while in office.

Was the worst Australian treasurer ever.

We'd all be rich if Howard was still in power.

You wouldn't be rich if god was in power.

The Liberals and especially donkeys like Howard are only in the business of making the wealthy more wealthy. I don't see any world where that helps you or any of us here.

It's all a distortion of Keynesian policies about money -  MMT

Govts. got too used to borrowing massive amounts of money even in good times
when they should have been paying it back instead.
That led to permanent borrowing and going further down the hole.

They borrowed money to win elections - not for the good of the country.
Voters got sucked in and voted for the worst money managers -
that explains why Labor keeps winning in Australia.

The polls have been so wrong so many times here and around the world.
They are just Media attempts to sway opinions
