Yet we see our Prime Minister wearing culturally appropriated clothing all the time.

Lefty hypocrisy.

you're an idiot. There is a huge difference between wearing something as a mark of respect when you are attending their function, and wearing it to garner a reaction in parliament.

She made a good point -
she wanted the Burqa banned and the Senate banned her for wearing it
but wouldn't even let her put her private member's bill up for discussion.
Is this a democracy or what?

It sounds like a CCP dictatorship.   Roll Eyes

Why is it ok to wear the burqa anywhere but in Parliament?
Why is it offensive in parliament but not anywhere else in public?

Again, it's not about the burqa, it's about it being used as a prop in a stunt.

Only Pauline has the guts to say anything about political correctness.

This TV show would not be allowed now:

The other dogs reacting to her crying racist should also be suspended because they also bring Parliament down with Hanson.

Wearing a keffiya now is a prop to signal support for Islamic fasists in Gaza.  Nothing else.

It is not about the keffiya it is about support for jihadis.

If Hanson went into the senate in a suit and tie nobody would bat an eyelid.

If she went in with a t shirt saying treaty now, or say yes to the voice or Net Zero Now or END Coal Now - clapping, nodding.

But demonstrating just how disrespectful, divisive, and degrading the  over the top (!) Islamic garb as a political statement is -  she gets banned!!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

The bints and bastards in the Senate are running from even discussing the meaning of the burqa in a secular society - so they ban Hanson for wearing it, supposedly in support and respect for bints who wear it OUTSIDE parliament.

Led by Penny Wrong, Faruqi and Lividia.

Islam is the new trans.

It's not about the burqa, per se, it's about the prop and the cunning stunt.

Parliament IS for political statements. Hanson made a political statement about the abject hypocrisy of the political class, examplified by Pussy Wrong, Faruqi and Lividia: they banned the burqa in support of it, FFS!! They are as stupid, moronic, snivellingly self-contradictory as you, creepy wanker.

As it has been pointed out, bints have been wearing keffiyas, possum skins, kangaroo skins, etc

Parliament IS for politics and the burqa is a political statement in Australia. There is absolutely no reason to wear it anywhere in Australia except to make a political statement. If you think the people of Australia are just like the people of Afghanistan and Pakistan and so you have to wear a burqa to protect yourself from them -  they what the bloody hell are you doing here???  **** right off back to Pakistan and Shitholeistan.

The burqa is a political statement evewywhere, in and out parliament. Which is is why it it is banned in quite a few countries.

Parliament IS for political statements.

It's not the place for props and stunts though.

As such, she'll be suspended for seven sitting days and banned from ever representing Australia overseas.

I love days like these  Smiley
