So why censure her for NOT making a point, ...

She used a prop in a stunt.

That's not allowed in parliament.

How many times do you need this explained to you?

Not 'allowed' in parliament, eh??

Why is it 'allowed' anywhere else if it is so offensive in parliament, the house of the people?

Why are you allowed elsewhere but not in the senate?

You are allowed. There is a public gallery.

Senator Pauline Hanson’s recent seven-day suspension from the Senate has triggered an outpouring of public support, with callers across Sydney radio making it clear they believe the punishment has only strengthened her standing.

Parliament is not the place for props and stunts.

It's not about the burqa, per se, it's about a prop being used to carry out a stunt in parliament.

That's not permitted.

If only she had threatened to burn down Parliament, there would be no problem at all.  Roll Eyes

Pauline Hanson Unbothered by Suspension: “I Stand My Ground for Australians”

One Nation  November 25, 2025

Pauline Hanson has made it clear she is not worried about her one-week suspension from the Senate, standing firm on her beliefs despite backlash from all sides of politics. The transcript shows Hanson completely unfazed, refusing to bow to political pressure or attempts to silence her.

Hanson was suspended for seven sitting days after entering Parliament wearing a burqa  a move she says highlights serious concerns about women’s rights and national security. While Labor, Liberal, and Greens senators condemned her and voted for a censure motion, Hanson didn’t flinch.

Her comments reflect a broader sentiment across the country: Australians are tired of politicians who refuse to confront tough issues. Hanson’s defiance — even in the face of suspension shows exactly why One Nation continues to gain support.

The transcript also notes Hanson’s strategic engagement with Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce, fuelling speculation he could defect to One Nation another sign that the major parties may be losing control of their own ranks.

For Pauline Hanson, the suspension is meaningless compared to the responsibility she feels to speak for everyday Australians. She has made it clear that no ban, censure, or criticism will silence her fight for transparency, security, and the rights of all Australians.

One Nation’s message is stronger than ever:
When Parliament tries to silence Pauline Hanson, she speaks even louder  and Australians are listening.

The burqa is a  political prop and a stunt EVERYWHERE in Australia.  THere is ZERO legitimate reason for wearing it anywhere in Australia or any other Western country. It is prop to demonstrate hatred and total disrespect for Australia and its people, values customs.  Which is why Hanson wants to at least debate it's banning.

It should be ridiculed and shamed out of existence in Australia, Europe, Northe America.

Hanson Cartoon "Too Offensive" for Parliament!

Pauline Hanson’s satirical film A Super Progressive Movie was banned from screening at Parliament House for being potentially offensive.

The ban is another example of free speech being crushed by woke bureaucrats terrified of the truth.

Is there any legitimate reason for wearing a neck tie in Australia or any other Western country?

Sure, she can do that in parliament.

She can't pull stunts and use props though.

She's just a Media shock jock like Thorpe and a few others.
It's never about Politics.
It's about their egos and vanity and they should be banned from Politics entirely. They lower the standards.
