It was still impressive that the Aussies are so far ahead in international cricket.

The Clive Lloyd Windies dominated all teams easily with the odd draw or loss in a series. They were truly a sole Tier 1 nation for a decade, almost two.
The Mark Taylor/Steve Waugh era broke that to dominate as as a Tier 1 only but with a less dominant series percentage.
Since then, South Africa and India have held #1 world rankings shared with Australia.
England hasn't been in the top Tier for a very long time.
England needs to change. It should incorporate those good Irish batters with a Hurling background and those good Scottish bowlers and Welsh fielders.

New Zealand should get those good Fijian batters from Trobiand Cricket.

I think the ICC should push more series matches of Minnow nations who occassionally beat top teams like Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe have done. The circuit is getting a bit stale but for just three teams.

Blimey!

I've just seen the wackiest Kuwait bowler bowl probably the most unplayable bowl ever to hit the stumps!

So much so, the clip showed the batsman (Saudi) clearly distressed and allowed to face another two balls - both again spinning more than a Warnie to hit the stumps for a hat trick.
It just happened yesterday in a comp in the Middle-East.

The bowler takes the shortest of runs that looks like a cat on a hot tin roof and the ball goes high and drops faster than a Ravi Shastri and spins from way wide of off stump to hit middle. He did this 3 times in a row to dismiss the same batsman. Grin
