I have started to get back into my running. After a 30 year break Smiley
It's a big endeavour and i have made good progress. Have had a few minor injuries and learnt a lot.

Got up to a gallop speed last week but I was heavy on my feet and a knee did not like it so I reduced my speed today.

Am warming up and down more, have got up to a canter speed comfortably today. Was well balanced, relaxed, light on my toes.
Ran this morning in barefoot on a grass 400 M track in the dew.
It's enlivening, akin to a swim in the ocean.
Feeling really good now. It'ds like a gentle drug buzz coming on

Do you do stretches first?

With the lure coursing we stretch our dog’s neck and each leg. Quite a task as the dog resists with all its might  Smiley
