They have no greater claim than any recoquistadors, in Spain, Israel, anywhere.

Muslim claims to conquered lands is bogus. Islam is bogus.

Arab claims on Palestine are direct and contemporary. Their claim is more cogent than the loss of Spain in that many of those dispossessed are still alive. Time makes a difference.

They are not trying to seek justice for the dispossessed. They are trying to slaughter the Jews, and their efforts only get in the way of justice. The only reason there was a war at all, along with dispossession, in the creation of Israel, is because the Muslims were frothing at the mouth at the thought of the Jews being in charge. Plenty of Arab Muslims stayed in Israel and today have more rights, and more say in the governance of the country, than in any other middle eastern or north african country.

Austria got lucky after the war, having been declared victims of Nazism as opposed to collaborators... and this despite Hitler's hero's welcome in Vienna after the Anschluss.

Jabotinsky was the father of Israel's creation-struggle strategy and the founder of the IDF's ethos - he is honoured and revered throughout Israel as one of the founding fathers of the state. He had this to say in his 'Iron Wall', 'Ethics of the Iron Wall', and 'The Iron Wall – From the Diary of a Soldier'

I think you know what I mean by 'accident of history' regarding Arab Israelis. In 1948, Israel was a nascent, self-declared, unsecured democratic state that had adopted Western democratic values in its constitution. That meant that all people, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or political views, were equal under Israeli law. Had Israel's founders not done so, they would not have received undivided Western support - even against the West's interests in developing economic relationships with the Arab states.

Here, Jaobitinsky expresses either gross naivety or intentional bias... It's impossible not to hate an enemy that intends to kill you... In the heat of battle it is, in fact, an absolute necessity for survival.

And still are. Arab Muslims make up about 20% of Israel's population. Unlike other middle eastern countries whose Jewish population is close enough to zero - thanks to the efforts of Muslims inspired by Hitler's holocaust.
