Does Labor waste money?

COP31 stands for the 31st Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Wong won't put price tag on COP31 as final host decision looms.
Some reports have put the potential cost at up to $2 billion,
but the minister did not confirm if that was accurate when it was put to her.

The government has already spent $7 million preparing to host the conference,
Mr Bowen said on Saturday before he departed for Brazil.

An Independent - I'm in a safe Labor seat - it was a waste of time -
I only turned up because it's compulsory.
People here could be lining up at soup kitchen's and they'd still vote for bloody Labor -
