health insurance under trump
Nov 15th, 2025 at 6:35pm

here is what a multi billionaire sociopath thinks of poor people

Quote:
........   KFF estimates that currently subsidized enrollees will see their monthly premium payments more than double, increasing by about 114%, on average.
This reflects people with incomes below four times the poverty level receiving less financial assistance and those with incomes over four times poverty no longer being eligible for financial assistance at all and therefore being hit by a double whammy of lost tax credit and higher insurer premiums.       .............

Health insurance in the US was stuffed before Trump became POTUS.

My Stepmothers (American) sister was in a car accident over 30 years ago face half ripped off first question she was asked in hospital was
"Do you have insurance?'

Obamacare made it worse it resulted in taxpayers subsidising insurance companies and premiums still went up.

The big problem is insurance companies dictate what medical care people get the patients doctor isn't in that loop.

The whole health insurance needs a total overhaul.

I see your article mentions ozempic as being expensive perhaps people need to listen to RFK Jr and improve their diet get some exercise and work on their own health instead of relying on Big Pharma to give them weight loss pills.

Health insurance  is a massive scam in the USA.

big pharma pay off the insurers, the doctors and the politicians.

The more drugs a doctor puts you on the more the insurers make as they are the middlemen adding their fee to the consumer.

The result is an upward spiral where the whole system exists to make people sick, get them on as much expensive medication as possible, have health insurance subsidies this business model BUT  under Obama's Obamacare the insurance companies are gifted a. 15 % profit on any drugs they supply.

Obviously then. The ONLY way to grow profits is to grow the market of USERS.

the result ?

The average American is on 5 , yes 5 medications.
All charged at about 3 x what the rest of the world pays.
Asthma puffers at $200.

And the incentive is to get people sick as quickly as possible.

Fat kids are put on oxempic , at a cost of 5000 a year and probably for life.
This is possible thanks to bad food ( courtesy of a corrupt FOOD. And drug administration ) that recommends sugar frosties over eggs and white bread over steak, that pours 5 billion a year into coca cola for FREE. To poor black people and Mexicans via food stamps.

The whole system needs a boot.

RFK. Despite some stupid ideas does have some great ideas.

It wouldn't matter what he did, he could hardly make it worse

Thats the issue right there, Trump and RFK believe the best way to attack the problem is to get people more healthy so they don't have to rely on medication that is expensive no matter how you pay for it. Health systems require money and the consumer will pay for it, you can juggle the way the money goes from the taxpayer to the health system but it will always come from the taxpayer one way or another.

RFK is fighting to get people healthier and the dems are fighting to make sure the big pharmers still get their cut.

Reading this post all I see are gop talking points, RFK is correct in that we all should eat better, get healthy and so on,but really should americans trust their healthcare to this man, most of his other ideas are just batshit crazy.
As to the ACA, just what have the gop offered in the last 15 yrs that is better?
All we hear is the ACA is so bad, what did trump do to fix it in his first term?
Oh thats right for 4 yrs all we heard was I have a plan, I will release it in 2 weeks, 1 yr ago he changed to I have a concept of a plan, ffs.

So like most conservative gov, they just whine and bitch and offer no solutions.

When will the gop come up with a plan to make healthcare more affordable to Americans,I mean surely they would have some idea after 15 yrs of saying how bad the ACA is.

I just saw this news article….

‘Consumer pays, consumer risks’: Florida ‘surgery mill’ plans for Australia

https://apple.news/ATWkobEs1QWyI3dxYLHADmg

More than a dozen surgeons are photographed in a row, smiling with their arms crossed – including, on the very end, Australian surgeon Munjed Al Muderis.

(And then this is written further along in the article)

Those fears echo some of the findings in a Federal Court of Australia judgment in August which found Al Muderis’ surgical practice was unethical and negligent and that he prioritised fame, money and numbers over the safety and care of his vulnerable patients.

That’s exactly what we are asked … when in the so-called free Public hospitals.
Of course we are in a private health insurance, and all details are asked for.
Then I’m paying via my health insurance while others get it free.

Am I getting better treatment or rooms if I’m in a health fund?
Do I get my choice doctor/surgeon because I’m in a health fund?
Or does anyone get all that without being in a health fund?

When I went into a public hospital in 2019 I was told my health insurance helps to pay for much needed hospital expenses, in an overall manner I’m guessing.

and I'm betting that every vote you've made since then has been to empower the insurance companies, and lessen govt's restrictions on them
