Because at that time Epstein was still alive and investigations were still ongoing, so they couldn’t release them without compromising the investigations.

Epstein was still alive while Biden was President and there were active investigations occurring during this time, hence why the so-called Epstein files were not released under Biden. Epstein died during the first term of Trump, so there is no legal reason for withholding those files now that Epstein is no longer alive. There’s your answer - quite simple!
