The little trips here ‘n there…

No big trips anywhere since last year’s big money gobbling overseas adventure!

I’m just enjoying our local peninsula and stumbled upon some quaint stores, trains, and a nice beach view in our walk.

A steam train …. Just happened to be at the right place at right moment.

And a quaint Olden style 2nd hand/used book store….on the esplanade….almost invisible…

My wife makes a version of it that uses a large cast iron pot. The caramel sets on the bottom and you have to scoop it out with a large spoon so you don't get the cracking. But it's worth is because I get a few days out of one pot ........but only because i limit myself.

I was driving around Ireland last month. Lovely. Made me think of driving around country NSW/Vic.
Drove to Victoria from Sydney last week for an ADF event. Better. Good different.

Beautiful countryside, great people.

I agree! Mix of smooth rich custard and crunchy toffee crust. Yum!
