I’m just enjoying our local peninsula and stumbled upon some quaint stores, trains, and a nice beach view in our walk. A steam train …. Just happened to be at the right place at right moment.

Nothing like tapping into a cream brûlée

My wife makes a version of it that uses a large cast iron pot. The caramel sets on the bottom and you have to scoop it out with a large spoon so you don't get the cracking. But it's worth is because I get a few days out of one pot ........but only because i limit myself.

Made me think of driving around country NSW/Vic. Drove to Victoria from Sydney last week for an ADF event. Better. Good different. Beautiful countryside, great people.
