"Horrifying footage has (been) revealed of a group of neo-Nazis rallying outside NSW parliament, drawing furious condemnation from political figures.

But in a twist, NSW Police revealed the demonstration had actually been allowed - with the state’s top cop admitting there had been a communication “breakdown” between police and the government over the rally.

More than 60 members of the neo-Nazi organisation, known as the Nationalist Socialist Network (NSN), demonstrated outside parliament shortly before 10am on Saturday, holding a large sign reading “Abolish the Jewish lobby”.

Dressed in dark clothing and sunglasses, the members chanted slogans used by the Hitler Youth.

They also spoke of offensive and anti-Semitic conspiracies relating to Jewish groups, the wider Jewish community, and spoke out against the changes to the new laws outlawing public incitement of hatred - which came into effect on August 15.

NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said there had been a “break down in communications” between police and the government.

He said police had received a Form 1 application on October 28 from the group White Australia to conduct a protest outside Parliament House, but the government had not been briefed on the process.

“The purpose for conducting the protest was said to be to protest against Jewish lobby groups but also the current hate speech laws,” he said.

“Government had not been briefed on this process.

“I take it very personally, there was a communication error within the police force for which I did not personally know that today’s protest was taking place.

“Accordingly, I had not briefed the Minister of Police.”

Commissioner Lanyon said they would be taking action to determine if the protest violated the state’s Crime Act.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Premier Chris Minns condemned the group, labelling it a “shocking display of hatred”.

“No one who lives in Sydney should have to put up with that kind of hate speech on the steps of the People’s House,” he said.

“It’s obviously … shameful that these people feel that they have the right to demonstrate in such a despicable, hateful way, spewing division and racism on the streets of Sydney.”

Police and Counter-Terrorism Minster Yasmin Catley said the protest was “deeply distressing” and should “have no place in NSW “.

“It’s extremely concerning that this gathering occurred without earlier visibility,” she said.

“The Commissioner of Police is undertaking an urgent review of the circumstances, why we didn’t know and what needs to change.”

While I in no way condone the message these dropkicks were spouting, it is interesting to see the media and politicians furiously virtue signalling about how evil these people are and threatening to bring in even tougher laws to restrict freedom of speech.   This rally was approved by the police, was peaceful, did not obstruct traffic, did not display offensive symbols..It followed all the rules.

Contrast this to the violence and obstruction caused by the 'progressives' and the Islamists whenever they decide to shut down streets, wave terrorist banners and threaten to exterminate Jews and others who they don't like and attack police and anyone expressing a different opinion.. They get a free pass from the media and most weak politicians. Only now are some police beginning to take action.

Yes - it's not right that Islamites and fellow travelers (gretas) can stop streets and call for the death of Israel and nobody does any more than photograph them and catalogue them for future disposal.... but the reality is - we don't want any rat-bags in Australia....

It's not unfair - they get a warning, a chance to get their minds right, then they are sanctioned by a court and told to GTMR- recalcitrants of all kinds are then rounded up and shipped to Gon'mo .. those who remain intractable end up either deported or exiled....

Now than - how many years ago did I warn yez alkl that continuing in the same weak-kneed soft cock ways in modern Australia - with an iron fist on one hand flailing at selected groups and a velvet glove on the other handing out unearned riches - and every ridiculous 'woke' madness getting centre stage - would end up with our having an extreme government of either left or right.
