But that's the whole flaw of it.
At 18 & 19 THEY ARE NOT ADULTS.
They are teenagers and the same teenagers as 13 & 14 year olds are.
Even Australian LAWS in themselves have got it wrong.in so many ways to start with.

The best example: 16 year old KIDS having babies because the LAW allows them to 'legally'. Come now. Are we still living 1000 years ago where people died of old age at just 50?

At 17 they can join the ADF where they will be taught to use weapons and will be expected to risk their lives if necessary. At 18 they are legal adults with all the duties and responsibilities of any other adult, they can join the police, fire brigade and ambulance service. If the can do all this then they should not be paid junior wages no matter what job they are doing.
