They're made in China.

Their US models say "Corona, California" as that's where the Fender head office is.

However, many of their US guitars are assembled just over the border (about 50 miles away) in Mexico and not in the Corona factory.

I bought a new electric toothbrush and it had German flags with "Germany" printed next to it all over the box.

On closer inspection, once I got it home, it actually said "Designed in" in very small print above "Germany".

In extremely small print, on the bottom of the box I found "Made in China".
