TRUMP proves himself
Oct 22nd, 2025 at 9:45am

How many birds did he shoot with just one stone?
1. He totally shot down Rudd and only accepted his apology off camera because he got revenge in making Rudd look like THE village idiot.
2. Showed how weak and cowardly of character Albanese is for the world to see, when Albanese threw Rudd under the bus with a cowardly two-faced laugh.
3. Proved to the world how above the Establishment the position of an American President should be BECAUSE as you could see, the position of the Australian political leadership is the WEAKEST globally.
4. Point #3 proves that the Australian political people are strong v the American political people are weak.

Albanese was the ultimate global embarrassment of weakness and character cowardice like no other political leader yet, in the face of Trump who utilises the position of a President like it should - like a Boss (if it was a novelty, it's better than a first black man or first woman novelties that the Democrats offered).
Slagging off Trump, just like Rudd did. Albanese didn't even realise that the exchange between Trump and Rudd was also a warning to Albo himself. Another village idiot.

It was a great moment in global politics to see an American President, one of the greatest, if not the greatest - put the position of Australian Prime Minister in its place.

As I've always said.
The Governor General's serve Great Britain
Prime Minister's serve the USA.
...and didn't Albanese grovel. Wink

He played Trump like a fiddle, just by feeding his ego a few compliments. That's all it takes, flattery and praise, and suddenly Trump's putty in your hands.

And let's not pretend otherwise. If Albo hadn't done that, if he'd decided to take the moral high ground and throw a few cheap but accurate shots instead, and we lost the deal because of it, you'd be the first one foaming at the mouth about how he "failed Australia". You know it as well as I do.

Instead of sulking because it doesn't fit your partisan script, maybe try celebrating the fact that our PM actually put national interest first, not his ego, not his bank account, and not some delusional culture-war narrative.

Yup, correct way to treat a full blown narcissist.

A bribe would have worked too—Trumpy is nothing but a grifter.

Regarding your first point, all that shows is how thin-skinned Trump is. It's a rare day when I agree with Rudd, but his assessment of Trump was absolutely and completely spot-on. As for your second point, it isn't exactly a secret that Albanese is weak, and we saw it when he laughed at Rudd's expense rather than keep a straight face or even stick up for his Ambassador. On your third point, Trump is just a bully. That's all he is, just a bully. If he were President of Micronesia, he'd get laughed out of the room and no world leader would give him the time of day. It's only because he is President of the United States and the power that country has (not Trump personally), that world leaders are having to stroke the giant man baby's fragile ego in order to work with him for the good of their people.

I will say that Albanese did well to get that rare earth minerals deal, but should've pushed harder to have tariffs removed in return. It's a travesty that Australia is subject to tariffs when the United States has a trade surplus with Australia. Albanese was pretty weak not to use that leverage he had over Trump. Albanese should've given Trump a taste of his own medicine.

The world's political GRIFTERS known as the LEFT.
Note the above lefty responses. Grin

Albanese, the world's most cowardly political leader of a country, even pointed at Rudd like a coward would.  Grin

LEFTISM is fake politics. Born from the American Media culture of FAKE IT TO MAKE IT (aka Acting) sloganism. It, when having to compete fairly with Right wing politics - fails to compete and can only deliver it's corrupt fake politics like a villain drowning in his own turd whirlpool. Grin

Failing in North America, being booted from South America, Leftism has set up it's hideout last refuge in the New World's, here in Sahul's Australia with the Lefty ALP and it shows.
But let's face it. LEFTISM is a Political Failure in itself.
And that's the core of Leftism's failure in the very Right Wing owned and proven world of Politics. I guess Lefty's find it hard to understand that Politics is not Hollywood and all things Media of music and entertainment. Wink

Albo would have been acting on top advice -
he did as much as he could get away with.

In any case as far as AUKUS goes -
the Yanks are running a protection racket -

e.g.

'it's a nice country you've got there in Australia -
it would be a pity if the Chinese invaded and no one helped you.'

Albo’s meeting with Trump was billed as a chance for a reset and to reaffirm the Aukus alliance, discuss trade, and smooth over any ruffled feathers.

But lurking in the background was (as others have said) the Rudd-shaped elephant in the room.

Trump, ever the master of leverage, could have easily used Rudd’s past insults as ammunition to publicly embarrass Australia, demanding his removal as a precondition for any productive dialogue.

Instead, Trump chose magnanimity.

Reports from after the meeting suggest Trump extended an olive branch, focusing on shared interests rather than settling old scores. He even handed Albo the photo-op and soundbites needed to project strength back home.

Make no mistake, this wasn’t Albo’s luck. It was Trump’s grace in action.

Albo and Dudd should have asked for a better deal.

How about -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia-class_submarine#cite_note-CRS2023-3

Cost $4.3 billion per unit w/VPM (2023)

Convert to $A = $A 6.6 billion each.

Lets make it A$10 billion each to give a generous profit margin for the Yanks.

Cost of 8 subs 8 x 10 = $80 billion.
Add in A$20 billion for some sub servicing port that the Yanks could use as well.

That makes a deal for $A 100 billion.

That's a lot less than $368 billion that we will pay.
I have just saved $268 billion and the Yanks made a huge profit too.
Everyone is happy.

Right wing USA/Trump will never give a Lefty run Australia a better deal. Trump doesn't bend for grifters like the ALP.
Albanese has done nothing but a global holiday doing the social butterfly with selfies with other world leaders as if to con Australia that he is a 'world' leader in politics too. Not the case. More like a Media celebrity pulling beers in the name of just 'socialising'. Absolute wanker.
If Voldemort Dutton had pushed the Coalition cause more through Internet platforms (like Trump does) rather than rely on Media crumbs of promotion in obvious bias towards the ALP. We probably would have got a better deal via Dutton.
