Come on Brian,
Muslims do what the Koran tells them to do.   Roll Eyes

But oaths don’t count if a Muslim thinks that they go against Koranic edicts, and an oath of allegiance to an infidel Queen must surely be in that category.

I have served with and commanded Muslim troops and one always kept the Koran in mind with most decisions.

You seem to be assuming that Muslims are unthinking drones of their religion.  I doubt you have discussed Islam with any of them. You like all islamophobes are too frightened to mix with Muslims.  Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I have discussed Islam with Muslims including one fellow Officer at the time, who always held his whiskey out at arms length and intoned “If it be the will of Allah that I not partake of this beverage, may he strike it from my hand.”
Then he enjoyed his drink.
When I commanded Muslim troops I was, for legal reasons, a Second Lieutenant [acting, unpaid] with the Brevet rank of Captain.

Being asked to explain your idiocy gives you a headache.

You dish out your idiocy but if anyone bats it back at you you go all moronic tut tut and miffy.

You are vain, stupid. You are one of those fat, lazy, retarded bully kids who cry the moment anyone say boo back to you.

According to you, that made your fellow Muslim not a Muslim, now didn't it?  What it shows was that he was willing to think for himself.  I have known Muslims to drink as well and enjoy the alcohol. They didn't think they were lesser Muslims because of it.  Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

And how does any of that make them in any way representative of Muslims?  Other Muslims kill cartoonists, teenage girls, commuters, maim writers, behead teachers, priests, soldiers, kidnap or massacre school children.

But all that is wiped away by your Abdul having a beer 30 years ago? No, You are as despicable and dishonest as gweggy creep - and that is a very high order of despicability indeed.

Stop generalising - that's racist..... SOME Muslims are just fine with civilised ways - MANY are not.

Now - tell us how to sort the goods from the bads....  got a stamp for their foreheads?

You drink too much, don't you Brian?

I was asked a general question.  I answered with a general answer.  You have the proportions the wrong way around, the majority obey the law, the minority disobey it.  You are being the Islamophobe here, not me.  As to how much alcohol I drink, I haven't had a drink in 20 years.  Tsk, tsk, tsk... It is far more representational than your attempt to charatise all Muslims as Jihadi fanatics, Soren.  you don't even know one Muslim.  Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

That’s right and according to Muslim law he was an apostate and could be killed if one of the faithful so wished.
The Koran is a political treatise firstly not a religious one, it is subversive and all Muslims follow it, if they do not then they face consequences, consequences which are laid out within its covers.
Australian law and the Koran are mutually exclusive.

But your experience is negligible compared to mine.
I commanded a Company and had 98 troops, most of whom were Muslims, how many infantrymen have you commanded in combat, Muslim or otherwise?

And yet my experience is polar opposite.  Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

In combat?  None.  Being in combat confers nothing supergreat to a situation.  I have known several dozen Muslims, I have served with, studied with, worked with them.  I have visited their homes as a guest, eaten meals with them and discussed political situations with them.  They have ranged from Turkish to Indonesian to Australian in their nationality.

Good for you, I have many Muslim friends, from one who would be a Maharajah today if it weren’t for the political treachery of former Indian Government, to labourers on day hire, good people all but that doesn’t alter the pernicious nature and influence of the Koran or of the pressure that can be applied to Muslims to follow its edicts.
