Victorian government is incredibly weak on crime
Oct 10th, 2025 at 4:01pm

This is an absolute joke. The Labor government is pathetically weak on crime and Victorian residents are paying for it with their lives. The only responsible course of action is to force those boys to attend and provide DNA, or lock them up until they agree to attend and provide DNA. To let children dictate to the Court shows just how weak Labor is on crime in Victoria. What a joke!

Judge's bizarre message as he frees alleged machete-wielding teen, 14, accused of trying to hack off a stranger's hand at a shopping centre

Saurabh Anand was allegedly attacked with a machete

10 October 2025

A teenager accused of attempting to hack off a man's hand in a sickening machete attack
has been given the 'best wishes' of one of Australia's most famous judges.

Saurabh Anand, 33, was allegedly set upon by five teenagers in the unprovoked attack in Altona Meadows, in Melbourne's west, in July in an attack that shocked the nation.

On Thursday, one of those alleged offenders was released from youth detention on bail by the same judge who presided over the epic trial of mushroom killer Erin Patterson.

As he released the 14-year-old back into the community, Justice Christopher Beale wished the boy 'good luck'.

'Protecting the community has been uppermost in my mind. But rehabilitation serves that public interest,' he said.

'I wish you the best of luck.'

Police allege the teen was the main attacker and slashed Mr Anand in an unprovoked attack over cigarettes and a phone, The Age reported.

As well as almost losing his hand and arm, Mr Anand was allegedly slashed and stabbed in the shoulder and back, and suffered a fractured spine, broken bones in his arm, and head injuries.

I would normally be fully supportive of the judiciary, but in this case the Judge has rocks in their head releasing this offender and should be fired.

Judge Beale :-  " I must get my glasses and my hearing aids checked - I could have sworn they said 'match stick' ... what's this machete thing?"

Easily fixed. Try them in absentia, find them guilty and give them the maximum sentence.

There has been papers served to these twats….by people…but no one likes to hear the words “sovereign citizens”
This is what they have done….make the erring lawmen aware, told them it’s treason against the people.
And it $@€ken well is exactly treason against us people.  Angry

We are fairly isolated here and have been spending on extra motion sensor lights around house.
Plus I keep screen doors and windows locked at all times.
It might pay to have a safe hiding area/room.
Look around your house….where would you go to for safety?

It will be a better country if the Coalition were running all States and Territories.

At the very least in Victoria, Labor needs to go. Their woke policies and handling of young Aboriginal and Sudanese offenders is way out of touch with community expectations. Allen's new bail laws are an abject failure and even the offenders know it. Meanwhile, innocent people continue to be attacked in the street and in their own homes by thugs armed with knives and machetes. I'm not sure if the Coalition will do any better, but Labor has had more than a fair go at trying to fix it and all they've done is make it worse.
