The public service now understand their duty to the superior man

You're assuming it will get that far.  It's going to need a very loyal to Trump over their oath of office and to the law Judge to get up off the ground.

Why would you say that.
Comey lied that there was Russian collusion
There wasn't
I hope he likes orange

Actually this is not correct. It was found that there was Russian collusion they just never connected Trump personally with that collusion.  Though Trumps people refusing to testify clearly impacted the ability to gain evidence. A number of them were prosecuted mainly for lying to the FBI.

Exactly.

Even if that's what the indictment was about, it doesn't actually change a thing.

The diehard loyalist running the department, who couldn't find a single subordinate willing to torch their career and bar membership to file these charges because the case is paper-thin, is an insurance lawyer, not even a prosecutor. And yet this amateur is expected to carry the whole thing through?

It's just another case of "merit" in Trump world meaning blind obedience, not actual skill or qualification. And this is the person the entire case rests on.

Good luck with that.

And she wants to white wash slavery from America's history.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — According to several statements to the press, Democrats are outraged by the unprecedented political prosecutions of people not named Donald Trump.

The latest statements of outrage came after the Department of Justice announced criminal charges against Former FBI Director James Comey, who is not named Donald Trump. Several other politicians and bureaucrats, also not named Donald Trump, have also been referred for criminal charges for crimes they may have committed and Democrats say that is a big problem.

"The Department of Justice has been hijacked," said U.S. Representative Monica McIver, who has been charged with forcibly impeding a federal officer at an immigration detention facility. "This is the unprecedented weaponization of the Department of Justice against the President's own political enemies, diverting the department from its true mission which is to go after our political enemy named Donald Trump."

"Democracy dies when the Department of Justice can prosecute Democrats for crimes," warned U.S. Senator Adam Schiff, who is being investigated under suspicion of committing mortgage fraud. "Our name literally means we believe in Democracy. The President is weaponizing the Justice system to attack Democracy!"

At publishing time, Democrats had also unequivocally condemned political assassinations of all people not named Charlie Kirk.

I say, old boy, did you know? The US attorney given the Comey case said no go. We can't get a conviction on this, he said. We're stuck even finding a crime.

So the big fella told Pam to fire him. He then gave her a replacement - some old insurance lawyer who worked on his bank fraud case, Lindsey Halligan.

This is a senior government position, you understand. They require things called skills. Lindsey has none. She's never prosecuted a case, never even argued a case in a court.

Pam obeyed her DL's orders, swore Lindsey in as a US attorney, and told her to get Comey.

Lindsey typed up a quick affidavit and asked her colleagues: anybody in?

One by one, they read her affidavit and shook their heads. You're out of your mind, they said. No way.

So, Lindsey grit her teeth and filed the indictment. DL texted her a thumbs-up. Lindsey blushed.

Literally everybody says the case is doomed. No crime, no evidence, no case. And do you know?

All Comey has to do in his defence is hand over DL's own posts. Believe it or not, lawfare's illegal in the US. Prosecutors have very limited guidelines in which to press charges, as you'd expect. First, they need evidence of a crime. Second, they need to be able to present the facts before a court.

Rule of law, all that.

Only in America, eh?

Intelligence briefs are almost never 100% correct. Much of the steele dossier was correct but a lot was also not correct.

Former US president Donald Trump has been ordered to pay a six-figure legal bill to a company founded by a former British spy whom Trump unsuccessfully sued for making what his lawyer called “shocking and scandalous” false claims that harmed his reputation.

Quote:
Trump ordered to pay $382,000 after losing UK lawsuit over Steele dossier

A London judge, who threw out the case against Orbis Business Intelligence last month saying it was “bound to fail”, ordered Trump to pay legal fees of £300,000 ($382,000), according to court documents released on Thursday.

Orbis was founded by Christopher Steele, who once ran the Russia desk for Britain’s Secret Intelligence Service, also known as MI6.

U.S. — Democrats sounded the alarm over Trump's prosecution of former FBI Director James Comey, warning that the prosecution of political opponents could set a dangerous precedent for America's democracy.

"We're entering uncharted waters here," said Senator Corey Booker while waving his arms wildly and popping his eyes out to demonstrate how dangerous and uncharted the waters were. "If Trump can maliciously prosecute James Comey, where does it end? Just imagine what could happen! We've never seen anything like this!"

Democrats and other experts claimed that if Trump opens this door, it could lead to malicious and frivolous "lawfare" that could end in political appointees arrested and prosecuted for obscure technicalities before being marched in front of cameras to have their mugshots taken. "Just imagine if that happened in America," said Booker. "I shudder to think."

Democrats were also promising that when they get back in power, they will retaliate by prosecuting Republicans. Republicans responded that if Democrats prosecute Republicans, they will retaliate by prosecuting Democrats when Republicans take power again. Democrats then responded by saying that if they prosecute Republicans, and Republicans retaliate by prosecuting Democrats, they will then retaliate back by once again prosecuting Republicans.

At publishing time, Republicans had responded by promising to retaliate again by prosecuting Democrats.
