Why News Ltd would post a video of African kids brawling alongside a story about a rise in shoplifting is anybody's guess.

You haven't shown any evidence, so I can't say, but I'd suggest violent crime in Melbourne is a small fraction of what it was during the good old days, back when you were having your naughty old drug wars.
