Latest Redbridge poll show Ley's numbers falling - the public don't like her politicizing the Bondi murders.

And so they shouldn't.

However, Frydenberg, Joyce, and Hanson have been far worse.

Anyway, everybody knew that Ley would never last long enough to face an election.

Anthony Albanese’s approval rating as Prime Minister has dipped in the wake of the alleged Bondi terror attack, with almost half of respondents to a new poll unimpressed with the government’s response.

Mr Albanese’s support fell 15 points from +6 to -9 between November and last week, according to a poll of 1010 Australians conducted by Resolve Political Monitor for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age newspapers.

The drop, according to the poll, represents the Prime Minister’s lowest approval rating watermark since the May election.

Albanese was booed at Bondi. Leys not.  Minns and Sloane were applauded.

Anthony Albanese and his senior ministers have been accused of “wilful blindness” in responding to warnings from security chiefs on anti-Semitism and extremism, as police, security and intelligence personnel fear they will be made scapegoats by the government.

Multiple security sources have told The Australian that the Albanese government’s “permissive” approach to the scourge of anti-Semitism, lack of urgency in response to extremist threats and failure to adequately resource security and intelligence agencies cannot escape scrutiny following the Bondi Beach terrorist attack.

The truth is unmistakeable: the alarm bells were ringing long ago. The October 9, 2023, protest at the Sydney Opera House, the 300 per cent rise in harassment, threats and assaults against Jewish Australians; the arson and vandalism of Jewish businesses, schools and places of worship; the anti-Semitism on university campuses, the unchecked hate speech, the weekly protest marches calling for the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people.

“And the repeated briefings, particularly to Foreign Minister Penny Wong and Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke, from security agencies all pointed to a growing and foreseeable threat.

There is a legal term for ignoring such warnings: wilful blindness, when someone deliberately avoids knowing the truth so they can later claim ignorance. It is about accountability for choosing not to see what is in front of them.”

Prominent national security figures told The Australian the Albanese government did not have a “real focus on national security” and that the security architecture and personnel had been degraded since the 2022 election, when Labor came to power.

Let’s have a small wager what Albaneses’ approval rating will be at say, the end of January.  Already, the Coalition are coping flack from ALL news providers so, once the horror of the event has been processed by the Australian people and the hypocrisy of the Coalition absorbed how high do you think his rating will go?

This massacre is not going to be 'processed' by the end of January.

Albanese, Tony Burqa, Wrong and federal Labor are copping an awful lot more flack than the Federal Coalition over this, and rightly so.

And all because Albo signed up for a two-state solution, along with 57 other member states. The hysteria will eventually die down because the people are already over the blame game.

Well, in my retirement years I get to read and digest a lot more information now that I did before and I am seeing what was a big rise in unpopularity for the PM and Albaneses slowly but surely reversing back to the status quo as the Coalition's tactics fail.  I mean, the idiot Frydenberg attributing a misquoted set of  comments made by Sir Peter Cosgrove about Hitler in a rant at Bondi,  accusations about Albanese not being at Bondi when he was at a hospital visiting wounded people, the disgraceful attacks by the screeching Cash and Ley  over Penny Wong are now all coming out as false.  Even the temporary Sussssan ley has  been apologising and back peddling as fast as her legs will move.

The opposition had an opportunity here to show leadership and compassion and position themselves as a viable alternative but instead they will become the compost heap for disinformation and below belt tactics.

The PM had endless opportunities to show leadership since 2022, when he assumed office.

Even more so since October 2023. He went back to type : USyd Trots student politician.

They booed him because he is a spineless little man out of his depth.
The entire parliament with a few honourable exceptions, are unreconstructed 1980s and 90s student activists. Pathetic.
Albo, Tony Burqa, Wrong and the Labor Left are intimidated by the Muslim and muiriculti vote. Much of urban Libs are also nappyshitters on the 'wacism, islamophobia' front.

Australia and the West has had political leaders for decades - the Uniparty - that has actively, purposefully imported masses of enemy aliens.

There is no reason for flooding liberal democracies with millions of people who are openly, fundamentally hostile to it - except to destroy it.  Islam has not improved Austalia in any way. Yet since 2001, the rate of Muslim immigration has increased very significantly.
Nor have Pakis, Sikhs, Gujarati,  Chinese, Africans, Maoris, Sudanese.

Government can control for how many hours you can leave the house or if you, as a citizen, can return during Covid  - but it cannot control the influx of hostile demagogues who will murder people on the beach, preaching jihad every Friday, self-segregate from the society that has taken them in?? Nuts to that.

Oh, the ironing!!!

The Arab League, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the African Union (AU), and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have joined numerous countries and foreign ministers in decrying Israel’s formal recognition of the Somali breakaway region of Somaliland as an independent state.

‘Dangerous precedent’
Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit called Israel’s action “a clear violation of international law and a flagrant infringement of the principle of the unity and sovereignty of states”.

“Any attempt to impose unilateral recognitions constitutes an unacceptable interference in Somalia’s internal affairs and sets a dangerous precedent that threatens regional and international security and stability,” he warned.

Pakistan has joined 20 other nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in rejecting Israel‘s recognition of self-declared Republic of Somaliland, with a joint statement saying that Tel Aviv’s measure reflected its “full and blatant disregard for international law”.

Now the Somalis can go back to their choice of Italian Somalia or British Somaliland.
No need to be 'refugees' in America, UK, Australia.

The away that Yugoslav refugees can go back to their various independent south Slavic statelets. Ditto Afghans, Iraqi, Syrians - the wars are over, go home, your country needs you. Nuffin' to be a refugee from.
