According to International law, Palestinians have a right to defend themselves against an illegal occupier, so no, they didn't start any war.

Hamas were clearly and unambiguously in contravention of international law when they invaded Israel and took hostages. No-one with an ounce of credibility is claiming otherwise. That's why even Muslim countries are now blaming Hamas. Anything else is spineless apologetics for a terrorist organisation.

And how many Palestinians have been illegally imprisoned in Israel's jails without access to proper legal process and well before Oct 7 ??
