Israel IS committing genocide in Gaza

Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, major United Nations report finds

Israel has committed and is continuing to commit genocide in Gaza, according to the "most authoritative assessment" to date.

A United Nations Commission of Inquiry (CoI), established by the UN Human Rights Council, concluded that Israeli authorities "intended to kill as many Palestinians as possible" and have committed the crime against humanity of extermination.

The report cites direct targeting of civilians, including children, and mass killings in "far larger numbers compared to previous conflicts".

It also found Israel deliberately inflicted life-threatening conditions by blocking food, water and medicine — actions "calculated" to bring about the "destruction of Palestinians".

Rubbish: They started with numbers worse than 1 in 10 deaths being Hamas maybe even worse than 1 in 20. Since the early days the numbers have only deteriorated to the point that they are likely worse than 1 in 50 (or a 100). From the beginning they were correctly identified as deliberately targeting innocents.

If Israel really wanted to commit genocide in Gaza there would be no Gazans left alive by now. Instead Israel is helping to feed the very people who want them dead. There is aid entering Gaza every day, however HAMAS is taking charge of it with UN compliance and distributing it as they see fit, so if anyone is starving it is because HAMAS wants them to.

Also, ask yourselves why no aid is coming via Egypt, or would that uncomfortable question derail your narrative? Roll Eyes

As long as he keeps the geneocide going he avoids scrutiny by his own judiciary for ordering a stand down of the IDF on Oct 7 thus sewing the seeds for a complete occupation and ethnic cleansing of Gaza !!

Israel has committed genocide in the Gaza Strip, UN Commission finds

Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel said in a new report today. The Commission urges Israel and all States to fulfil their legal obligations under international law to end the genocide and punish those responsible for it.

How did they rule out the possibility that the civilian deaths are the inevitable consequence of a war that was started by Hamas, could be ended at any time by Hamas simply returning the remaining hostages that they captured in violation of international law, and that is confined, by Hamas' military strategy, to the most heavily populated areas of Gaza?

On the most obvious point: "killing members of the group" the report says:

Sounds to me like they decided that genocide is the "only possible explanation" by failing to consider other, rather obvious, explanations.

Or more simply, they reached their conclusions in a circular fashion by simply "concluding" them.

So the war was started in 1947 by the occupation of the illegal settler colony so one can argue that Oct 7 was justified ?? No ??
