….I was walking around Stonehenge!
Can’t believe one year has flown by like that!’
My phone pops up these random memory photos.
Interesting place Stonehenge. The weather was weird when we were in proximity of the stones.
Wind, rain and cold. I had to layer clothes on.
We were warned before hand it’s particularly cold where them stones are.
Yet 1 km away at their cafe, gift shop, video information centre… it was very warm… I took layers of clothing off again!
Everywhere else was calmer but at the stones.
And how odd…at that time…these were built way out in the middle of nowhere.
And in these recent times…it’s still out in the middle of nowhere.
Our great ancestors were a strange lot with what they did with their time  Grin

If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand.

One year ago today 22st sept….

I was in Paris….
Wish we had a longer stay so I could’ve found a French restaurant to try French onion soup.
Paris is a vibrant hustle bustle city….

I had lunch here when I was in Paris:

Very nice indeed  Smiley

And my experience at Stonehenge was very similar to yours.

Just a t-shirt at the visitor centre, but needed a jacket at the stones.
