Reviewing the effects of the 'COVID' event, today in 2025.....

In retrospect, 'COVID' seems to have been an undeniable 'event marker' and the catalyst for a huge change in 'human affairs'.....
and also a change, in the perception of the common man, about how political authority is wielded [by those who do wield it].

Since 'COVID' 'arrived', and then 'departed'.....humanity, 'the world' [and society, particularly society in the 1st world nations], has changed markedly.

The 'quality' of our lives, has tangibly declined, regressed.

The [previous] age of experiential human enlightenment and HOPE, seems to have moved into a dark, gloomy room.

We seem to have stepped into a much darker, and more foreboding social/societal 'environment'.

A social or societal 'environment', where light and [obvious, and consequential] truth are very readily censured and/or disparaged,
by those who obviously despise what the 'the light', may expose [about their own agenda ??].



zeitgeist = = the defining spirit or mood of a particular period of history.

catalyst = = a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change.      a person or thing that precipitates an event.

Covid was certainly a test to see how isolated, fearful and obedient the population were.
And the population in general showed themselves to have very low agency and very little courage.

The authorities kept saying we had to believe the experts.
And , OK, public health doctors , who don't see patients but just read reports are a expert of sorts.

But there are many other experts we should listen to as well.
Economic experts who could have pointed out the effects of inflation and small business failures
Pschiatrists who have expertise in isolation causing mental health issues.
The effect of not being present at the birth of children or travelling interstate to see dying parents are real health effects.

The experts in child development who could have said what the effects were on young children not going to school , not learning social skills, not playing team sports.

" the American people just aren't scared enough
We need to frighten them more"

After 9/11 we had a similar effort to scare people.
The colour coded threat warnings. The irradiation of genitals at airports. People having to get used to being controlled.
2 wars costing about 10 trillion dollars.

Experts need to explain to the population that when governments PRINT trillions of dollars to fight in Iraq or to fund covid, that money is pure inflation.

They could pay for Iraq or covid as they go by massively increasing taxes and that's a more honest way.
Would people support Iraq and Afghanistan and covid if. Say , the GST  went to 20 % to pay for it?
Unlikely.

But you have to pay for it in the end.

Now if you own assets, you get richer as a result of these reckless measures.

Personally. My properties soared after covid spending, so the rich get richer.

But when grocery prices go up 30 % and house prices hit a million. That's just the covid money, the Iraq money, the green energy money moving thru the economy.

Whenever the government spend money , the poor do not save it, they can't,  and the rich just get richer.
Look at the 90 billion printed for the NDIS.
was it funded by an increase in taxes on the rich.
Nope.
My tax rate at the top, keeps going down.

Will my assets be helped by that extra 90 billion of printed money being in the economy.
Yep
I'll get richer.
Will the stuff I sell go up in price because of that extra money.
Yep.
I'll get richer.


EVERY TIME THE GOVERNMENT STEP IN AND SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO MORE AND LOOK AFTER YOU. REALISE THAT THEY ARE IMPOVERISHING THE POOR, INCREASING THEIR POWER AND ENRICHING THE RICH.


I could go on about 50 billion for nuclear subs but my assets have gone up too much already and I don't need it.

Please stop doing things Canberra and give the working poor a chance to breath.
