The Venezuela motor-boat is a serious menace with high-speed propellor, bright paintwork and anti-aircraft pistols. The US Navy tries hard but knows when to back-off.

Quote:
.........   Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth called Admiral Alvin Holsey on the carpet to address the admiral's refusal to carry out fishing boat attacks in the Caribbean.

Admiral Holsey expressed his concern for civilian casualties. Secretary Hegseth pushed back and reminded the admiral of his sworn duty. Admiral Holsey informed Hegseth that he had no intention of carrying out an illegal order after forty years of service in the U.S. Navy.
In response to the admiral's stance, Hegseth threatened to strip Holsey of his command. The meeting became heated and quickly adjourned.

Less than fifteen minutes later Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth received Admiral Alvin Holsey's letter of resignation.

In recent days, members of Congress have reached out to Admiral Holsey requesting him to testify on events surrounding his resignation.

Admiral Holsey has receipts. Admiral Holsey has agreed to testify.    .........

Survivors clinging to capsized boat didn’t radio for backup, admiral overseeing double-tap strike tells lawmakers

The two men killed as they floated holding onto their capsized boat in a secondary strike against a suspected drug vessel in early September did not appear to have radio or other communications devices, the top military official overseeing the strike told lawmakers on Thursday, according to three sources with direct knowledge of his congressional briefings.

As far back as September, defense officials have been quietly pushing back on criticism that killing the two survivors amounted to a war crime by arguing, in part, that they were legitimate targets because they appeared to be radioing for help or backup — reinforcements that, if they had received it, could have theoretically allowed them to continue to traffic the drugs aboard their sinking ship.

Murder - pure and simple.

I see that you, in the face of overwhelming evidence, have ceased your claim that these were not drug trafficking vessels and are now pushing the 'murder' line.

Crimial gangs, is it?

Your Nigerian bots always muddle up their crims, Lee.

You disagree with such statements, of course.

After all, if exporting coke was biological warfare, your DL wouldn't be releasing the mastermind who exported 200 tonnes, now would he, dear?

There is zero evidence to suggest the boats were carrying drugs, and there is an abundance of evidence which suggests the killings were premeditated murder.

I notice that neither you, nor the Trump administration, have offered anything in the way of evidence to support the ludicrous "drugs/fentanyl" claim lie.

Sorry? Are you saying they're drug trafficking vessels?

By which evidence?

I'd be very careful if I were you. Lee takes one's evidentiary standard very seriously indeed, dear. He's gone to such lengths already as to reference the evidence gathered by Nigerian bots.

DRAIN THE SWAMP !!!

Duterte was right, shoot drug-traffickers on sight, their cat, their suspected dealers, the guy next to them.  Circle the wagons and shoot injuns, get a posse up the gulch to shoot the  outlaws. Lynch 'em, high. It's great.

He pardoned himself and Donald signed the Executive Order, the UN is fake and run by witch hunters. The next Venezualan motor-boat gets a torpedo.

That's a relief. We wouldn't want to see a prez arrested for extrajudicial killings, now would we?

If DL finds any in his jails, he'll be sure to have them released, as you do.
