Details of the conversations recorded between Dezi, his wife, and police before shooting.

https://apple.news/Akq8VAFODSJqi4N-FQ0vxWQ

'We have got a search warrant right here,' one officer was heard saying.
'Come out and have a look at it.
'Come out and talk to us Dez, we are not going away.'
From inside, Ms Freeman could be heard asking the officers not to enter the bus.
'Can you please not barge in?' she said.
'We have a search warrant,' a second officer responded.
'I have a kid, please,' Ms Freeman begged, her voice shaking.
'Leave us alone, leave us alone,' Freeman shouted.
What followed was an extended back-and-forth between Freeman and several officers.
Freeman demanded to see the warrant, claimed he had autism and post-traumatic stress disorder, and insisted a disability liaison officer be present.
Daily Mail understands Freeman has never been formally diagnosed with either condition.
Freeman named various other police officers he wanted to attend as witnesses, and when the warrant was held up against the bus window, he snapped that it was 'not valid'.
'What is the search warrant for?' he demanded.
Remaining calm, an officer pulled against the bus door with a crowbar.
'We are just trying to do our job, Dez. Come out and talk to us and we won't have to break in,' he said.
When told the warrant was related to a sexual assault allegation involving a young girl, Freeman erupted.
'Oh for f* sake, what bulls*,' he screamed, branding the police 'psychopaths' and accusing them of 'terrorising him'.
'You have been targeting me for seven years,' Freeman claimed before demanding to speak to the senior sergeant and commanding officer.
He accused the police of 'trespassing' and committing 'countless crimes.'

‘’Ms Freeman was seemingly sitting on the steps of the bus directly behind the door and their toddler was with her.’’

Toddler? Earlier reports said 15 year old son.

Good grief man! What’s that small bubby Ms Freeman has been holding in her arms the whole time seen on TV? They have 2 sons. One is a teen, one is a tot.

That’s what comes from not watching TV; my apologies.

That’s okay.  Smiley I don’t blame you, if I had a choice I wouldn’t either! But the other half always has the tv on for news. My son and daughter both don’t watch tv either. Says it’s full of misguided brain wash distracting negativity.
Well I guess someone in the family has to keep up with what’s going on in the world!  Roll Eyes
Then, we have this wonderful political forum which I find informative and always interesting with divided opinions.

There is a video.

The Daily Mail is not showing the full 27 minute video but
they do show us this YouTube video of still frames and a narrator:

Interesting that both cops were shot at point blank range when they were inside the bus.
I can therefore assume that it was a shotgun and
not a rifle at long range.

Report i read said first cop was shot through the door second cop was shot through a window.

Reports also said he used home made shotgun which are illegal.

Pretty easy to make a simple slam fire shotty

And the Slam-fire is relatively complicated compared to the simplest hardware store variety

Well - he's managed to wreck my attempt to discuss Sovereign Citizens/Citizenship and the reasons for that developing and developing, and to then lead into discussion of State Sovereignty in relation to that..... thus creating the atmosphere in which the issues of dividing the now unwieldy Australian states up into smaller areas more in keeping with the people ... who ... live... there ... can go forward.

They're eating the rights...
They're eating the dreams ...
They're eating the pet ideas ...
Of the people... who ... live... there...

Who, or example, in Victoria - outside of the latte' sipping befuddled agenda eddicated lost thinking Dark City of Occupied Melbadishu - WANTS some nonsensical 'Aboriginal treaty' and Apartheid and special rights, and tiered citizenship and rights?

NOBODY but the very - VERY few who stand to benefit unfairly from such a thing... and who imagine they can persist in their lawless ways and not be brought to the bar for it.

In short:

Freeman had been wanted since August over the fatal shooting of two police officers at Porepunkah.

Police have not confirmed the exact location of this morning's shooting.

Residents of Victoria's north-east have told the ABC about the heavy police presence in the area during this morning's operation.

The ABC understands the stand-off and shooting occurred near Walwa, on Victoria's border with NSW.

Was it a case of : "BANG, BANG BANG!"

"PUT YOUR HANDS UP!" ?

Will not be missed and saves the cost of a court case.   Cool

p.s.

Reports that there was a "tip-off".

I wonder if the person or persons involved will receive the $1M reward?

Couldn't really blame the cops if that's what happened.

Well I was close to him aiming for the border, like most criminally hunted do.

I remember the gunman of the NZ peninsula massacre (Dunedin I think) where he killed 13 people with automatic rifles. Fully armed and Camo. He even snuck up behind the local cop and shot him in the back of the head. A pure nutter who snapped because kids cut across his front yard (he shot them too).
There's a movie on it.
The Special Forces came in and flushed him to the end of the peninsula. Trapped, he came out guns blazing. They took him down, tied him up. Lit their cigarettes with a foot on him and then called the cops in after he died from his wounds so they could read him his rights.

Was he armed when he was shot?     Undecided
