i dont think the 1m reward would have been offered if they thought he was alive. hes died in the mines i reckon. may even have been injured when they were shooting at him but those mines are full of CO2 if he went to sleep

This bloke was known to Police who also knew of his Sovereign Citizen claim.

Obviously the Victorian Police must go about with their heads up their arses.....

they didn't learn one thing from the Wieambilla incident where two Police Officers shot & killed by the Train Family when they attended a farmhouse in December 2022.

The Trains were the same sort of people as this Dezi Freeman - Sovereign Citizens and Conspiracy theorists.

Also having a heavy arsenal of unregistered weapons.

Sadly, you're right - they didn't learn a thing.

All SovCits should be considered dangerous, especially those known to have guns.

They must always be treated with extreme caution - they are literally insane and could do anything at any time.

I just hope the shooter does the right thing and uses one of his guns on himself.

I'm almost certain he will.

No, not all.
Using the same brush to tar all others is the same as saying the copper that tasered the granny as all cops are thugs and act without due care.

I have just spoken to our friends that are sov citizens and they said, they don’t like the way they keep using that term to describe this man on the run.
They said they have no care for him and said he’s a criminal.
Now our male friend was ex army, and has 2 brothers in the police force. One has retired.

So therefore, saying all sovcits are bad is wrong.

This guy on the run… he’s a criminal first and foremost and shooting people is absolutely abhorrent.

No one said or suggested that.... though a sovereign citizen might.

Sovereign citizens that make the headlines have proven they are bad - and it's for all the wrong reasons.

So if your friends don't fit the mold as to these types then they're not really a sovereign citizen type.

They are just more your disgruntled citizen .....

and in this day and age with what's going on - who is not?  Smiley

Oh yes, disgruntled enough to exercise rights, freeman, name in capitals, whatever else was said, it just goes in one ear and out the other with me.  Grin
He’s a fighter, he’s got a 3rd Dan black belt taekwondo.
He has guns.
Now… about 5 years before we had that gun amnesty … he had guns the cops wanted him to hand in… so he did. He had a receipt of having handed them in etc.

Well get this…. talk about corruption in the police force… his gun ended up resurfacing 2 years later in Tasmania!  Shocked

It was found out some coppers were stashing these guns handed in so they on sold them! Black market!

Since then, when guns are handed in… there’s a big window/glass barrier, where you see your gun being destroyed.
I saw this…when we handed in our pump action shot gun.

When I handed my few in(the old ones I hadn't sold) the Coppers had like a pantek truck there with a hydraulic bending/crushing device - the rifles were bent/crushed/broken straight away.

Seems like they need to call in the Army.

Surely they have superior skills when it comes to finding someone in thick bush-land.

This is not Rambo country. Australia don't use the Miltary for hunting fugitives from the law.

The kids need a dad who works hard and brings in the money
they'll need to get a good start in life -
support them through university or a trade etc.
Even to provide good guidance and counselling.
His wife will be lonely and not have the support she'll need.
The whole situation is a disaster for his family
and everyone else's family -
the loved ones of the victims who were murdered.
Who will look after them?

Get with it Bobby,
We have Social Security in Australia and the families of the murdered police will also get support from the Police Association of Victoria.

A few pennies from social security does not replace a dead provider for their family.

His wife is a music teacher - she can still make some money.

Yes - that's what I saw on TV but somehow many
weren't destroyed and corrupt cops sold them on the black market to criminals.

Guns are so old school.

Everyone just uses a machete nowadays.

So much cheaper and environmentally more friendly!

So, he called the police on his neighbours when he needed help but then executed two of them when they came to his house because he thinks he's above the law.

Typical SovCit moron.

His two sons will have a much better life now that he's gone - their mother seems to be a decent person.

Yes they may well do... I can only hope the lads haven't been too badly affected by him.

But until he's either locked up or dead he isn't gone yet.

Details of the conversations recorded between Dezi, his wife, and police before shooting.

https://apple.news/Akq8VAFODSJqi4N-FQ0vxWQ

'We have got a search warrant right here,' one officer was heard saying.
'Come out and have a look at it.
'Come out and talk to us Dez, we are not going away.'
From inside, Ms Freeman could be heard asking the officers not to enter the bus.
'Can you please not barge in?' she said.
'We have a search warrant,' a second officer responded.
'I have a kid, please,' Ms Freeman begged, her voice shaking.
'Leave us alone, leave us alone,' Freeman shouted.
What followed was an extended back-and-forth between Freeman and several officers.
Freeman demanded to see the warrant, claimed he had autism and post-traumatic stress disorder, and insisted a disability liaison officer be present.
Daily Mail understands Freeman has never been formally diagnosed with either condition.
Freeman named various other police officers he wanted to attend as witnesses, and when the warrant was held up against the bus window, he snapped that it was 'not valid'.
'What is the search warrant for?' he demanded.
Remaining calm, an officer pulled against the bus door with a crowbar.
'We are just trying to do our job, Dez. Come out and talk to us and we won't have to break in,' he said.
When told the warrant was related to a sexual assault allegation involving a young girl, Freeman erupted.
'Oh for f* sake, what bulls*,' he screamed, branding the police 'psychopaths' and accusing them of 'terrorising him'.
'You have been targeting me for seven years,' Freeman claimed before demanding to speak to the senior sergeant and commanding officer.
He accused the police of 'trespassing' and committing 'countless crimes.'

‘’Ms Freeman was seemingly sitting on the steps of the bus directly behind the door and their toddler was with her.’’

Toddler? Earlier reports said 15 year old son.

Good grief man! What’s that small bubby Ms Freeman has been holding in her arms the whole time seen on TV? They have 2 sons. One is a teen, one is a tot.
