Time to close the injecting room
Aug 17th, 2025 at 12:29pm

The injecting room in Melbourne really needs to be closed, as should the one in Sydney. We should be helping addicts to get themselves off drugs, not enabling their addiction.

Good point but… I thought it was supposed to stop the addicts from stealing to get their desperate fix?

But instead look at all the shops and restaurants closing around it and the antisocial behaviour being displayed by addicts.

It's time for Chinese style re-education camps.

Get the druggies off the streets and book them into a 2 year camp.

It'll be interesting to see Frank's take on this story.

The drug addicts are pushing the migrants out of the area.

It's so easy to see why drugs create a downward spiral.

Most things in life have the easy ( wrong) route and the difficult ( right) route.

Can you get a hit of dopamine by working hard and completing a goal .
Yes.
But it's easier to do coke.

Can you get a hit of opiates by exercising vigorously
Yes
Buy it's easier to do smack.

Can you get a peaceful mental state by meditating.
Yes,
But it's easier to do pot.

Can you get oxytocin by bonding intimately with a quality woman
Yes.
But it's easier to do porn.

Can you become a ,millionaire by studying for months, the teaching of great marketers.
Yes
But it's easier to think a lotto ticket might get you there.

Can you do brutal training in the gym and build huge guns
Yes
But it's easier to use roids.

And on and on.

People who always take the path of least resistance end up screwed.

If you don't like a challenge and doing hard things, society will always offer you the easy out.
Then you can back rationalize your weak soft sloppy pussy existence
