Its self perpetuating
Aug 8th, 2025 at 3:21pm

When lefties are identified and diagnosed with TDS it perpetuates because the trigger word Trump is in the title of their disease which triggers them even more. First they deny they have TDS but the mere mention of Trump sets them off again. A reflex reaction for a leftie is to project their problem onto others so they then tell you that you have TDS which again triggers them.

Long term TDS sufferers need special psychiatric long term treatment.

Trump derangement syndrome
Fareed Zakaria defined the term as "hatred of President Trump so intense that it impairs people's judgment"

Lets check in at 5pm on 23rd July 2025 then at 5pm on 30th July

Yeah, no matter how many times you repeat this lie, you will still be wrong. TDS refers to people who cling to the delusion that Trump is always right and that Trump can do no wrong, even in the face of undeniable facts. Frank is a prime example - unable to accept visual and audio proof that Trump once suggested people inject disinfectant into their veins in order to kill the COVID virus. That is textbook TDS, because even though he has visual and audio proof of this insane suggestion, he still denies it. This is fact, it is not debatable. Deal with it. Seek professional help.

There is no such thing, as in, no actual recognised syndrome, as "TDS". Not Trump Derangement Syndrome, not Trump Devotion Syndrome.

"TDS" is a rhetorical prop. Trump supporters wield it to swat away legitimate criticism they can't refute, can't defend against, or simply can't stomach. Those critical of Trump toss it back to describe that very behaviour. That's all it is, a label used as a shield or a sneer, depending on whose turn it is.

Some will harp on about it endlessly for one reason only, to provoke. It's the online equivalent of throwing rocks at a caged animal, then preening when it reacts. It's not clever, not insightful, and certainly not brave. It's the behaviour of people who mistake manipulation for wit and cruelty for strength.

The targets of this rage bait are usually the ones still trying, however imperfectly, to argue in good faith or simply exist without swallowing the hook. Their "crime" is not having their guard up every second against bad-faith actors. That's the trick, rage baiters exploit human nature, weaponising the instinct to defend one's self or one's values, then ridiculing the very reaction they've engineered.

It's a coward's sport, relying on contrived outrage from a safe distance, never facing the mess they create in the real world. They're guilty of the same emptiness they accuse others of having, which is why it's almost funny. As usual, it's all projection: too small to improve themselves, so they insist everyone else is just as pathetic, if not worse.

And why wouldn't they? The figure they idolise is cut from the same cloth, deeply insecure, incapable of growth, and happiest tearing others down as a substitute for achievement.

They're best ignored. But sometimes it's worth reminding them, and everyone else, that their desperate need for attention comes from a place of deep personal rot. They don't just want the reaction, they need it, because without it, they vanish.

Dermatillomania Tumpia - a compulsive, incessant scratching at any news about Trump, especially in blogs and newspapers by other dermatillomaniacs. They constantly reinfect each other, that's how the mind-virus self-perpetuates.

After coming into contact with them, handwashing and mockery are indicated.

Tell that to the professionals.

Quote:
Simply put, Trump derangement syndrome is a derogatory term used to describe a form of toxic criticism and negative reaction to former President Trump’s statements and political actions. The origin of the term can be traced to the late political columnist and commentator Charles Krauthammer, a psychiatrist, who first coined the phrase “Bush derangement syndrome” in 2003.

Krauthammer, himself a harsh critic of Trump, later defined Trump derangement syndrome as a Trump-induced “general hysteria” that produced an “inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and signs of psychic pathology” in the president’s behavior.1 Journalist Fareed Zakaria, moreover, defined TDS as “hatred of President Trump so intense that it impairs people’s judgment.”2

Signs of TDS can be observed along a continuum of reactions, ranging from verbal expressions of intense hostility toward President Trump to overt acts of aggression and even violence against anyone supporting or anything symbolizing him.
