they're basically just not that bad, and that's probably why there will be little to no political action on immigration (not that 'indians' are the only migrant group coming to australia, there are many others). they don't commit crime much on a statistical level and are mostly fairly mediocre and boring. i'm sure there are indians in india itself that are much worse, but if you can afford to leave/migrate from india, you're probably at least middle class by the standards of that country or up, so you're being selected for on the basis of many traits. the indians that migrate to australia are definitely not as selected for as those that migrated here in the past, or to the u.s in the current day (so called 'elite human capital') but they're still not coming from the slums of mumbai or backwards country areas.

they don't inflame community sentiment in the way that the maghrebis or africans that have migrated into europe do. is this a good or a bad thing? i don't know, given australia's precarious economy that doesn't absorb population growth (whatever it may comprise of) very well, it's probably pretty bad. ideally there shouldn't be any or very little migration to australia at all, whether that's indians or swedish chemistry phds (though the latter is obviously preferable, especially if female).

i don't think the average australian 'loves' them, i think they're more just fairly indifferent. and that's kind of the emotion (or lackthereof) that most indians in australia inspire in most people; ambivalence. depending on who you ask, that might be in fact very dangerous.

Like East Asians and Arabs. They are extreme Racists.
When there are just a few, they're better behaved. But when they number more in superiority - they turn on you, bully you and all the things to drive you away and prevent you at anything.

I vibe well with them.
A lot of them are natural businessmen as well.

They are a bugger to deal with sometimes because they always want to haggle 
But I find them to be in a higher vibration energy then many of the obese white Durr state losers hanging around the food courts looking half asleep.

And they are pretty grateful to be in Australia. They don't burn our flag. They don't threaten to kill patients.  They don't organise stupid marches over the harbour bridge to celebrate their victimhood.
