Peace ?

How comes peace, to all those who love God and his precepts ?

Isaiah 62:6
I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem,
which shall never hold their peace day nor night:
ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7  And give him no rest,
till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.



'It is all happening.'


While many ppl prefer the excitement of Rugby, and such.

Men are 'weak' and men always 'fail',
but we never fail....to be men.

Men are always tempted.......to aspire to be better.

And then we fail....yet again.

We wallow in our own appetites of greed, and anger, and pride, and vanity,
but mostly, we love our own sons and our own daughters.

Why not concede that God too, to loves His own children ?

Matthew 7:9
......what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10  Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?


Psalms 103:8
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9  He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10  He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11  For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12  As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13  Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14  For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.


If we want mercy, we ought to first repent [in our hearts].....
and then to ask God for forgiveness.

He offers it....to all.


Psalms 107:1
O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.


Psalms 34:8
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9  O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
