JD is a more easily controlled puppet by Peter Thiel and the Heritage Foundation than Trump is.

They created him, he's their couch-loving puppet.

Vance's Senate run was bankrolled to the tune of $15 million straight out of Thiel's wallet. The man went from a middling memoirist to a mouthpiece for authoritarian tech-billionaire politics because that's exactly what Thiel needed: a pliable vessel to inject into government.

And it worked. Vance is now the leading Trojan horse for a post-liberal, anti-democratic movement dressed up in faux populism. Every talking point he parrots, from dismantling the administrative state to making the executive branch all-powerful, is straight from the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025. It's not subtle. He doesn't even bother pretending it's his own thinking. He repeats their lines like a good little acolyte.

Unlike Trump, Vance is calculated and obedient. He doesn't freelance. He doesn't push back. He's young, untested, ambitious, and deeply indebted to the very people who installed him. That's the entire point. Thiel and Heritage don't want another Trump. They want someone who'll follow instructions, someone they can trust to implement the plan without wandering off-script. Vance ticks every box.

They just used Trump as the vehicle to get their man in place and have the most unpopular elements of Project 2025 to have Trump's trade mark on them to shield themselves and the successor they made.

This isn't some grassroots voice of the heartland. It's a corporate-constructed avatar for the most reactionary elements of the American right. And if you think he's going to show independent judgment when it matters, you haven't been paying attention.

JD Vance isn't leading anything, he's being piloted.
