JD is a more easily controlled puppet by Peter Thiel and the Heritage Foundation than Trump is.

They created him, he's their couch-loving puppet.

Vance's Senate run was bankrolled to the tune of $15 million straight out of Thiel's wallet. The man went from a middling memoirist to a mouthpiece for authoritarian tech-billionaire politics because that's exactly what Thiel needed: a pliable vessel to inject into government.

And it worked. Vance is now the leading Trojan horse for a post-liberal, anti-democratic movement dressed up in faux populism. Every talking point he parrots, from dismantling the administrative state to making the executive branch all-powerful, is straight from the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025. It's not subtle. He doesn't even bother pretending it's his own thinking. He repeats their lines like a good little acolyte.

Unlike Trump, Vance is calculated and obedient. He doesn't freelance. He doesn't push back. He's young, untested, ambitious, and deeply indebted to the very people who installed him. That's the entire point. Thiel and Heritage don't want another Trump. They want someone who'll follow instructions, someone they can trust to implement the plan without wandering off-script. Vance ticks every box.

They just used Trump as the vehicle to get their man in place and have the most unpopular elements of Project 2025 to have Trump's trade mark on them to shield themselves and the successor they made.

This isn't some grassroots voice of the heartland. It's a corporate-constructed avatar for the most reactionary elements of the American right. And if you think he's going to show independent judgment when it matters, you haven't been paying attention.

JD Vance isn't leading anything, he's being piloted.

Silly nonsense. Malicious, silly hysterics.

You numpties paint everyone who doesn't agree with you as, simultaneously, a calculating evil genius and a total puppet of some other evil genius.

Whg is is a bad thing, for example, to give the elected executive the power to derived on the platform they were elected on rather than let ghd administrative, unelected state apparatus carry on regardless who is elected?? How is the former anti-democratic? And isn't democracy about implementing the popular will, as expressed in ghd electoral contest every few years, rather than for the bureicractpy to carry out its own agenda regardless of who is voted in or out?

What are the most unpopular elements of Project 2025? What are it's most popular elements?

You're not actually engaging with what I've said, you're just reacting. Emotional flailing masquerading as rebuttal.

If you're going to state your opinions as if they're fact, then the burden is on you to back them up with evidence, not just vibes and tantrums.

Right now, you're uncomfortable because what I've said doesn't conform to your worldview. And rather than interrogate your own assumptions, you jump to the laziest conclusion: I must be wrong. Not because I am, but because you can't be.

So go on, prove me wrong. Not with feelings, not with slogans, with evidence.

If you can.

Because Trump claimed to not know what Project 2025 was, and that it wasn't part of his platform.

Trump not only said that Project 2025 wasn't part of his platform, but he promised in many cases the exact opposite of what he's enacting now.

We can go through just a few of the many, many examples if you'd care to listen and engage in good faith, just let me know.

Trump said:

On July 5 2024 in a Truth Social post,

Quote:
“I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them.”

On July 11 2024 in another Truth Social post,

Quote:
Project 2025 … had nothing to do with [the campaign],”

He then accused Democrats of spreading “pure disinformation” by tying him to it.

During the ABC debate he said:

Quote:
“I have nothing to do with Project 2025. I haven’t read it. I don’t want to read it, purposely. …”

You are not saying what he is doing that is the opposite of what he promised.
You are not saying which bit of Project 25 he is implementing, contrary to his election promises.

Will he get a Nobel peace prize?

Check out Bobby, fawning and acting all cute.

It's just a deflection attempt to try to divert attention away from his Epstein problems. He was declared fit as a fiddle not long ago, but now has a serious health issue. Yeah, sure. Deflect, deflect, deflect!!!

It's a deflection alright.

He's also very sick though - the swelling in his feet and ankles is very serious.

But yeah, we would have never known about it if it wasn't for the Epstein fiasco.

Trump was elected as our saviour from WW3.

Will he get a Nobel peace prize?

Check out Bobby, fawning and acting all cute.

Turns out the act lasted all of five minutes.

Anybody want to tickle his tummy?

dear Karnal,
many blessings.

If Trump gets a Nobel peace prize will you leave this forum forever?

A yes or no will suffice.

You first, Bobi.  Kiss

But Trump might die before he can get his Nobel prize.

Nobel prizes are not given posthumously.

Fingers all over the world are crossed.

I wake up each day hoping to see a headline on CNN saying that Trump has died after choking to death on a Big Mac.

You don't learn do you, if that was the CNN headline then there is a good chance (90%) the story is false.
