A power imbalance relationship.
If God, is God......and if a man, is but a weak and frail man.
What possibility, is there, in there being a happy relationship ?
Benign. When a man loves God [...when a man loves God's law and when he loves God's righteousness].
....what does >> that man << do ?
KJV
"If ye keep my commandments....."
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them...."
".....Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws."
".....them that love me, and keep my commandments."
.
When God loves a man.
....what does God do, towards that man ?
KJV
".....I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;
and will be their God, and they shall be my people."
"Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments."
"All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies."
".....him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose."
".....he will shew them his covenant."
".....and I will receive you,
And will be a Father unto you,
and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD...."
Look at the world today, in 2025.
Poverty, oppression, exploitation, murder, war.
.....and that, is in a circumstance,
where many men make a claim....that all men are equal,
and where love for others, is our [mankinds] highest hope.
In a world, where men are seen, to organise their relationships, which each other.
And yet the majority of men today, will insist,
that we [mankind] have no WANT, or NEED, for the laws of an unseen, and [seemingly] impotent God.
Even these laws.....
Matthew 19:17
[
Jesus said].....if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which?
Jesus said,
Thou shalt do no murder,
Thou shalt not commit adultery,
Thou shalt not steal,
Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
.
Men, most men, in this world, today....would rather embrace this 'philosophy'.......
"Right is only in question between equals, and while the strong do what they can, the weak suffer what they must."
- Thucydides (460-400 B.C.) Greek Historian
So be it.
