“ TERRIFYING: Thousands of Islamists surround Saint Patrick's Cathedral in Melbourne, Australia.

A show of force and pure hatred against Christians.

Just a glimpse of how they intend to treat and wage a war against ‘infidels’ if they become the majority!”

It has taken 16 months for officials to decide that Maha Almassri does not meet the character test for an Australian visa. At 5am last Thursday, Gaza Gran, as some media dubbed her, was detained at a Bankstown home and taken to the Villawood detention centre. Outraged Palestinian activists, friends and family grabbed their keffiyehs and Palestinian flags and staged a protest outside the electorate office of the Home Affairs Minister. The Australian reported a crowd of about 50 people chanted “Tony Burke, you can’t hide, you’re supporting genocide”.

If the object of the demonstration was to harden public sentiment towards a tougher immigration policy, they should congratulate themselves on a job well done.
...

Let’s stop mincing words. The right to permanent residency is an obligation to respect the Western values that underpin Australia’s extraordinary success. It requires acknowledgment that you are first and foremost an Australian or desire to become one.

An Australian passport is not like the Liberian ensign, an open registry that serves as a flag of convenience. It demand’s loyalty, not just paperwork.

What a wank of a response.

Islam isn't a race.

And if you want to go down the racist path the act of surrounding that Christian Cathedral by Islamists
is racism/racist.

As well as deliberate intimidation.

You could imagine the out cry if this had been done to a Mosque by 1,000s of Christians .... to say nothing of the violence they would have been met by from the Islamists.

Peccarhead the apologist & enabler.

Doesn't look like it.

From what I've seen, there are a lot of people standing around in stupid looking puffer jackets.

Puffer jackets are a crime against fashion, but I don't think it's a criminal offence.

I have no idea what religion those people are (not that it's important at all), and I didn't see any signs of violence.

I guess some people are upset that they were standing on the lawn, maybe ???   Undecided

They don't intimidate me.

The only people intimidated are racist snowflakes.

It looked like a very peaceful gathering.

More like a puffer jacket convention than anything else.

Why were they there & loud hailing in Arabic?

Surrounding the Cathedral?

1st up attacks on Jewish Synagogues now this with a Christian Church.

Religious persecution by Muslims?

I didn't realise they attacked the cathedral.

That's unacceptable.

What damage did they do?

I didn't say they did you phukwit.

Ah, ok.

So what exactly did they do, apart from wearing ridiculous puffer jackets?

Doesn't look like it.

From what I've seen, there are a lot of people standing around in stupid looking puffer jackets.

Puffer jackets are a crime against fashion, but I don't think it's a criminal offence.

I have no idea what religion those people are (not that it's important at all), and I didn't see any signs of violence.

I guess some people are upset that they were standing on the lawn, maybe ???   Undecided

You tell me ... it certainly wasn't just to stand around in puffer jackets.

Why would they need a loud hailer/PA systems and to be chanting in Arabic if it's all as innocent as you say?

Where they all contemplating becoming Apostates?

The racists and bigots gathered outside that Cathedral for their protest and their demands to establish the rule their way and their way only - they've learned from our very own local Cheers.... who in turn learned from the addle-brained feminists, who lead the charge to bring Australia to its knees... look at our pussy-whipped 'prime minister' ... he doth bestride this narrow world like a foul smog... and herh-herh - HIS harem is bigger than yours!!!

Okay, I haven't seen or heard that bit.

What were their demands? What were they protesting?

As I've said, all I've seen is a lot of people in stupid puffer jackets standing outside a church and/or walking past a church.

Sure, puffer jackets should be illegal but they aren't at the moment.

From what I can tell it was an annual street march to celebrate Ashura that went past the Cathedral. Ironically enough, Ashura celebrates when the Israelites were saved from the Egyptians by Moses parting the red sea.

Yeah, I think you might be right.

The first part of the video shows people walking past the cathedral with a banner.

Towards the end of the video, when you look closely, there's a line of people with their backs to the cathedral and another line of people facing the cathedral - so the two groups are face to face.

The people facing the cathedral are swinging their arms back and forth (in particular, the man with the long grey coat).

I've slowed the video down to 1/4 speed and I can't see anyone being violent, or anyone acting in an intimidating manner.

There are some kids walking by with mobile phones, and a few adults on mobile phones too.

I really don't understand what all the fuss is here, except for the puffer jackets - they're an abomination.

Maybe if the Commanchero Bikie gang did the same in celebration of their victory over the Banditos at that spot, people might think they were just being peaceful too?
Reputation precedes Muslim gatherings these days. It's a justified stereotype discrimination for obvious reasons. Only fools think otherwise.

Apparently it was the shites marching.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashura

Quote:
By contrast, for Shia Muslims, Ashura is a day of mourning as they annually commemorate the death of Husayn ibn Ali, grandson of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and the third Shia imam. Husayn refused on moral grounds to pledge his allegiance to the Umayyad caliph Yazid ibn Mu'awiya (r. 680–683) and was subsequently killed, alongside most of his male relatives and his small retinue, by the Umayyad army in the Battle of Karbala on Ashura 61 AH (680 CE).

You're comparing a group involved in organised crime with a bunch of people with bad taste in fashion.

Puffer jackets are bad, but they can't seriously be compared to drug importation & distribution and money laundering.

SBS has put a positive spin on it, of course. The reporter and a few talking heads are hijabi women and girls but the marchers, the chanters, the chest beaters are all men.
And they say they want to show that there is nothing to be concerned about regarding Islzm.
They achieved the exact opposite.
Like they did at the Oiera House in October 2023 and most weekends since then.

And if Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists or even Cronulla beach loving citizens did the same outside of a Mosque?
The Mussos would confront with violence.

...in reality, the Police would turn up in numbers to take action against those groups for inciting potential retaliation violence from Mussos.

And if your aunt had balls she'd be your uncle.

I don't condone violence, but I could see why they'd be angry.

My problem is that there are way too many shites like you, Bbwiyawn et al who have made a preening  virtue out of despising Australia and can't wait to give it away to people who have incomparably more pride and confidence in their culture.

That's my problem. There are too many of you opening the gates to too many of them. All because of your despicable antipathy to Australia and the West generally.

Just imagine how you would react to hundreds, thousands of Australians marching through Lakemba, beating their chests and chanting, 'Australia, Australia, Australia, we are ready to die for you!"

You would not be pretending to notice only their puffer jackets, creepy, liar and dishonest creep.

Reputation precedes Muslim gatherings these days. It's a justified stereotype discrimination for obvious reasons. Only fools think otherwise.

You're comparing a group involved in organised crime with a bunch of people with bad taste in fashion.

Puffer jackets are bad, but they can't seriously be compared to drug importation & distribution and money laundering.

What? Muslims are not involved in organised crime?  Shocked Shocked

Gold, crypto allegedly paid to Transport staff as ‘bribes’
Ibrahim Helmy remains on the run from ICAC after allegedly masterminding a web of corruption at Transport for NSW worth as much as $343 million.

Authorities do not know the exact whereabouts of Mr Helmy, but believe he is still in the state.  He was interviewed by the ICAC in September, but his compulsory examination was only part-heard.

The inquiry heard that on December 22 last year, the ICAC was alerted he was at Sydney International Airport trying to depart to Shanghai on a US passport in his name, as his Australian passport was at the time held by the ICAC.

"A family member has told the commission that Mr Helmy took the rubbish out on a Sunday night and did not return," Mr Ranken told the hearing.  "The family has not reported him missing."

No one said there was violence you twisty individual.

And the puffer jacket references are irrelevant nonsense.

No where in the video did I see them continuing a march past. The main group were stationary along with the PA.

So if there's no violence, what's the problem - just the puffer jackets?

And, at the very beginning of the video - the first few seconds - they are clearly walking past the cathedral.

Look again.

Now we know where you're coming from.

Crapping on endlessly about puffer jackets isn't humiliating anyone but yourself.

If anyone did the same outside a Mosque.
The police will be there to arrest and disperse them for inciting violent retaliation.

Smith walks around Dapto with his hand on his knob telling people "You're stupid and you're stupid too. Oi you there, you're stupid and your mate is stupid." and so on at every person he meets.

Makes us wonder why such a intellectual like Smith comes here to mingle with all us stupid people? Maybe it's because, like Gwoggy, he loves having his hand on his knob. Wink

The India Herald labels them 'Islamists'.  I have tried to educate the Philistines here about the realities of the difference between Islamics and Islamists ... but they are so immersed in their childish name-calling trolling that they simply do not want to hear, and think it is funny that people - real people - are concerned about the direction our country is taking.

I don't care what they were saying.

This is a free country - they can say whatever they like in any language they like.

They gotta stop wearing those puffer jackets though.

Ahhh - no they cannot - not if it's hate speech & incites violence.

Was it hate speech?

You have no idea what they're saying, so what are you worried about?

Do you just automatically assume that anyone who is speaking a different language to you is using hate speech?

That's pretty racist.

And ignorant.

Although, all racists are ignorant so I suppose I could have left that last bit out.

Not so sure about Twilight Zone but it looks like Frank might be heading for the Meltdown Zone again.

And what is it with him and Perth all the time?

I strongly suspect he's a bit envious of all of us living in Perth and probably wishes he was here too.

What the footage actually shows is a procession of Muslims doing the same thing they have done for 12 years.

They are participating in a religious commemoration of Ashura — a significant day in Islam, particularly for Shia Muslims.

Neither do you - so your point is moot.

They can chant in English.

FFS racist? Do you actually think your over use of that term for any criticism of action of any group has any validity anymore?

As for ignorance - what do you put your TDS & PJDS down to?

So why were they doing it where they were?

Have they done it there for 12 years?

Why not at their own Mosques?

Simplifying numptyism.

"procession"

Same as every year.

They walk past many buildings and stop at many.

Just because only one building is cherry picked for the bigots' videos it doesn't mean they didn't stop at others.

Ah.

So they did stop outside other buildings?

Well, there we go.

I still don't understand why you're so triggered by this.

They were peaceful, they do it every year, they can speak any language they like in a free country, it was a procession and they stopped at different buildings along the way.

The only thing objectionable was the proliferation of puffer jackets.

At some points they were stationary, yes.

However, it was a procession - watch the first few seconds of the video.

The only crime was the crime against fashion.
