2016, my first trip to Tasmania, accompanied by a niece and great niece.
On the way back to the ferry we stopped at a wildlife park, niece and great niece fed some of the animals, wallabies and big birds (not emus.) Niece managed to get bitten while feeding some critter

Later we watched devils being fed then a quoll. Great niece petting the quoll’s tail while it was being fed.
Later, a park worker came up, with two baby devils who had been rejected by their mother cosy in a beany—great niece was invited to pet them which she did. Before then, on a visit to Monotreme House, great niece quickly stroked an echidna causing the woman conducting the tour to quickly warn the rest against doing that

So, great niece petted, stroked, both an echidna and a devil. There would not be many people who could say that!
